Hi guys!
First grow is about to finish and started harvesting the first plants.
Temps and humidity are on the high side. Been using a drying rack, the hygrometer reads 62% humidity and 89/90 degrees when placed on the rack.
After reading some guides, decided to cut the buds from their branches and trim all leaves including sugar leaves to decrease the chances of mold as I read that buds should be dried in around 50% humidity.
However, the buds are drying faster than expected. In 2 days can snap the little stems easily. Will drying for only 2 days affect greatly the harshnes of the smoke? (still planning to do at least 2 weeks of curing in glass jars).
Could it be that the high temps are accelerating the process despite the high humidity?
Thought of leaving the next batch on the stems and leaving some leaves there, but mold worries me sick because it can just ruin 3 months of work.
Any tips or experiences drying in similar conditions?
Thank you!!
