Hey ya'll,

I had another account on here but I think it got deleted...

Here's my previous grow if anyone is interested

Found Here: https://www.autoflower.org/f43/brolys-closet-grow-speed-devil-2-harvested-6032.html

Now onto my current grow

I currently have 1 Chaze goin under a 400w phillips ceramic metal halide in a cool tube like reflector. It is on day 45, and is in a 25 gallon root pouch of roots organic soil. No nutrients just yet, but i'm soon to be using aurora nutrients for it's final flowering and maturity. Have been doing some LST to try and evenly spread the auxins...as well as get better penetration to the lower branches.

So far I am very impressed with the work Stitch has done. This strain has had explosive growth.

Will Post pictures Soon!

Peace,
Broly

Few Questions.

1. Is it a better idea to start bloom nutes at 1/8 strength. How often to up the intake?
2. What are the yellow spots on the leafs? Heat Stress maybe?
3. The light schedule since start was 20/4, after reading a few other chaze grows. I see most have chosen 18/6...thoughts on keeping it at 18/6 the rest of the grow?

Any help would be awesome, thanks guys.

Also, i hear a lot of people talk about using molasses during flowering...I plan to use 2 different types of bloom boosters by aurora nutrients...would adding a bit of molasses as well be beneficial?

well alright then i'm going for it, thanks charles

Loved your cfl grow. I'm currently growing on my windowsill but it's really stretched so I plan to use my closet for an indoor setup. How many cfl lights should I buy ? What watt for the cfl ? How do I mount the light and do I need to buy fans ?

At least 150 watts. I had 230 and it was fine. Buy a thermometer and keep it below 80, if you can fit 300 while keeping under that amount then go for it....it's just more light for your baby. I went cheapo and bought 10 23 watt CFLs at 2700k. For a total of 230. Then bought some standard house lamps at a thrift store for cheap and attached Y socket splitters( from home depot ). In my past grow you can see 5 pairs of bulbs 4 for the sides of the plant and 1 pair for the top. This gave me absolute coverage of my plant. Having reflective mylar or other material( I used fire safety blankets( 2.50 a piece ) is good to catch the every bit of light and reflect it back towards your plant. Thee main thing to remember when growing with CFLs is that it isn't the spectrum that sucks....but the penetration of fluorescents that gives this type of lighting it's disadvantage. So keep them as close as you can without burning the leafs. Yes aim a small fan at the plant to keep the leafs moving and not on a concentration of heat. It will also help strengthen the stems when you want to pack on weight with your buds. You don't want the fan too strong, just enough to get them moving a bit.....try to simulate outdoor wind, no more. Another very important thing to do, not only for all plants but especially with CFLs is to do LST. It allows even auxin delivery, and also allows light to reach lower branches. Also strengthens stems for bud growth. Love your plant and listen to what she's saying, she will return you in kind ;). Good luck and ask as many questions as you can, there is tons of good information and good people here to help. Peace friends:stylez rasta smoke:
