Started organizing the seed vault and took a hard look at my collection of Mandalorian regular seeds. I have 2 packs of Alf#5 f6, and 2 packs Anvil f7. I’m on the fence about finding them a new home, but also flirt with a proper preservation project. If I were to do a preservation, what would be the best way to go about it? Full house 20 seed op with no selection? Cull inferior boys, but keep as many as possible? Find one stud? The regs of these lines are becoming increasingly rare so if I’m gonna do it, I want to do it right.

If your doing a preservation, I would open pollinate with all males and females without selection, this will ensure your keeping all the genetics have to offer in they're current state.

Remeber you can always do selection in the next generation.

If you were considering to cull the males...I would definitely keep at minimum 3-5 of your nicest studs.

But personally for a preservation project,
I'd use them all.

Don't forget to send me some when your done..
