From what I understand Auto x photo = light sensitive f1

f1 x f1 = 25% auto 25% photo and 50% light sensetive

if i take the 25% that auto and make my selections from those will the next gen be fully auto?

please correct me if i'm wrong basically what im asking is i only have to take it to f3 to achieve full auto? thank you

also i know there are pollen in the balls but dont want to pollenate whole room, is there a way of knowing when to cut the balls and let them dry somewhere else?
thank you

Heres what i was always told.
The auto x reg plant must be pollinated with the auto pollen for the 2nd gen to get auto traits to show Auto/Reg xAuto.

Off the top of my head I think...
By the 3rd generation it's about 75%auto dominate.
By 6th gen its 95 %
But it could take longer....

Bx= backcross. meaning cross two strains work them for generations, then cross back to the parent(Bx).... understand.?

your asking how many generation from a auto x non auto cross??? F1 little to no auto phenos... F2 around 50% f3 75% f4 87.5%......

ok, if i select 100% autos from f3 and breed them, all of them wont auto? i would have on 24/0 to make sure i got the autoflowerers

so you saying theres still a chance that an auto x auto wont make an auto?

doesnt make sense

Why is it so important to be 100% auto?

(auto female) X (auto male) = auto offspring

its important to be 100% auto because autos can take a beating
