I started 2 Gelat.OG (seedsmans) on 6/15 from seed in Kindsoil. That makes today day 58. The timeline they give is 80 days from germination to harvest.

These look a bit ahead of schedule. Granted this is my first grow. I want to make sure not to harvest them too early or too late. Looking to get them at peak potency.

Can some flowering times be much faster than the suggested timeline? Should I wait til 80 days to harvest based on what you see here? Thoughts?

have you checked trichomes with a magnifying glass to see if they are milky, amber or clear? girls are looking very nice by the way!

They're definitely getting there GT... when you think their ready always good to give em a week or 2 more.... can stack on some weight, and keep an eye on the trichs, check various buds from all over the plant dude... you must be doing something right and yeah maybe the breeder has got it bang on... stellar work... easy now...

Yes, they are about half milky, half clear
Ya make sure your not looking @ a leaf and ur on a bud also if it were me I harvest I'm sections to see wat I like as far as amber/cloudy trichs now from my experiences I've liked 80% @ the as close to 100% cloudy as that's the best effect for me but each strain and even pheno can vary as far as breeders times they are mostly a waste of time as pheno variations are far to prevalent to nail it down

An update on the previous pics. Today is day 70 from germination. Any chance these girls can be harvested or should I wait for day 80?

Can you harvest? Yes. Is it fully mature, only you can tell the color of the trichomes *in my best Smokey the bear voice* how are they lookin now. I’d say a mature plant is anywhere from 25% clear-75% Milky to 70% milky and 30% amber but it’s all a matter of preference

No ambers but milky and clear can be pretty hard to differentiate at times. Under the CMH it looks all white but when I look at them via the loupe it's really hard to tell the difference between cloudy and somewhat clear.

It looks like it’s close. I would say cut the difference in half. If you are torn between today and 10 days from now, chop it in 5 and be done with it.
