Finally finished my grow box/shelf, hardest part was blocking out the pink light! The BS 135W led came with Really long hangers so just made up some short hooks you should see in pics 2012-07-28 20.56.30.jpg2012-07-27 23.50.19.jpg2012-07-28 20.57.00.jpg2012-07-17 10.48.11.jpg, still going to be dealing with hight problems soon me thinks.. gave me a few more inches but looks like only 8inches above closest plant to light. This plants first set of 2 leaves are now really stretching for the light. Could be that light is too close?

Also LEDs produce alot more heat than I expected LOL

You might need a exhaust fan to get the heat out. Also i didn't see a fan for air circulation. If the plants are stretching for the light its to far away, move it closer until the stretching stops.:toke:

Thank you for the Like, Leeold7.

Thank you for the response, Namevet25. Yeah, there is no fan in there but when families away from my room I remove (added) layers of curtain, then with the 3 fans on top and vents on side of led theres light general circulation and not hot. I'm home most of the day so I'm none stop, opening and staring at the tiny plants and huge bright glare.

Was more worried that the stretching/drying/inverted leaves were after effects of the heat aswell as the light, will try lowering leds and leave it open with a fan on that I use on them acouple feet away. Just too big to fit in there.

Will be back to say how I goes...:smokebuds:

BTW, an exhaust fan would be nice. Could be next investment, that or a carbon filter suggested by Muddy. Depends on what comes first, if my stinky beans come or I burn these low odor strains..
