This is my first grow journal, so let me know if anything is out of order here. I am really looking forward to cataloging the entire grow and harvest - would love to become a part of the cultivators club.

I am growing this to make FECO for my dad who has been diagnosed with cancer, so really hoping that I don't screw this one up.

After soaking the seed for 24 hours, it was germinated using the wet paper towel method. Soon there was a 2 cm tap root, which went into a rapid rooter. In about 48 hours, the seedling had germinated above the surface with the shell intact.

Day 2:

I was thinking she is getting a bit too stretchy, so I lowered the lights and also increased the intensity. The PPFD is around 200 now.

Day 3:

I felt the PPFD was still a bit on the lower side, so increased it to about 300 ppfd. I am just about able to see the 2nd set of true leaves growing now.

Day 4:

boy, they grow up so quickly ;) Big day today - moved her to her final growing space. Her tap root grew beyond the rapid rooter and many side roots had extended from the sides, so transplanted the rooter to its final place in the 3 gallon fabric pot (buffered coco with perlite). Considering the height of the pot, we are at about 475 PPFD at the seedling level.

Day 5:

She seems to be settling in fine. I see the 2nd set of true leaves starting to pray and grow bigger. I haven't fed her any nutes yet, but I do plan on starting with a low dose from week 2.

Day 6: She looks fine, but seems to be growing a bit slow, so added 50ppm nutes at 6.1PH to see if it makes a difference.

Day 7:

Still not sure what's going on, but the progress has been slow to say the least. I am hoping all the activity is happening under the ground to set us up for a nice growth spurt soon.

Day 8:

She seems to be stuck and not growing at all. Also, the cotyledons are turning light green, so wondering if she needs more nutes. I hadn't pre-washed the coco with nutes, so not sure what's going on - would really appreciate some help here.

I ended up flushing the coco (when I buffered the coco, the water I used had a PH of 7.6, so my the PH was very high) to bring down the PH level to 6.1. I will continue to water/fertigate with 5.9 PH. Is there anything else I should be doing?
