Hi guys :stylez rasta smoke:I know there is not a blue dream auto out there yet. But I wondered if could ask you breeders if would be possible . To make by crossing female big Buddha seeds "super auto sativa" and a male auto blueberry? I'm pretty sure blue dream is super silver haze and blueberry, I'm sure it wouldn't be the exact same but would it be in the ball park? Thanks for any info on this newbie question, if not possible sorry to waste your time.:smokebuds:

I'd grow it! Heard good things about that strain, it could be close to the that but there's a lot that go into breeding autos compared to photos! The fact that you have to make is strain stabilized is fucking hardcore. If someone showed you the breed amortization formula, it would make your head hurt. But it can be done. But then you still have different phenotype that could not carry the sativa pheno! I just leave all that shit to the pros. Photos go ahead and throw some pollen power on those pistols and make some shit nobody has ever seen! That's how we got the last 1000 strains that bust our ass and an absolute joy to grow! What you could do is get a nice blueberry strain with a ak-47 cross! Should be similar. Lowlife seeds has one. It's a couch lock indica mixed with a clear heady sativa! Best of both works in my opinion. Any thing blueberry anymore is an awesome strain, esp the Dutch Passion boys! Are you looking for a clear headed hybrid to make ya tingle too? Haha
Good luck bro!

Ps sorry rep for rambling! I'm really elevated right now from some kinda of afghani from New Jersey dispensary! Love y'all AFN good night!

If you have the guts, know how and time go for it bro. Blue Dream is an amazing strain. I will always continue to grow it I just wish they had regular seeds of it for easy breeding. Most are 10-11 weeks but I flush them at 8 and cut at 9 91/2 and they seem great. I would love to see BD in auto form but I don't have the time and expertise for that yet. I have a Northern Lights Blue Auto going right now and was thinking the other day about how cool it would be to cross it with BD.

Here's the latest BD I grew in DWC

Blue dream is an F1 cut only strain. There are no normal seeds let alone an auto. Yes there are "Blue Dream" seeds out there, but they are knock offs and not the true thing. Sorry guys.

Like piggy said, bd is clone only. And when you have it, you know it's the real deal...blue dream is on my top ten strains, long time before it ever makes an auto appearance, if ever. Would be awesome though

Got the pleasure of smoking some last night...superb Andy's Blue Dream right here

Don't worry about strain names, lots of good genetics out there being bred to autoflower, just because BD is recognizable by name doesn't make it the only good sativa/indica mix ;-) If you want a blueish strain with an "up" high that's fun for socializing, try Himalayan Blue Diesel by Short Stuff. I'd also look at some of the blue cheese autoflowers out there, veeeeeery similar effects.

So qustion muddy, sorry im new at this but wats the problem with blue dream being a clone only strain? You cant cross clones? Or are u just say with it being a clone it would be hard for even an exprienced breeder?

Meant to say mr. piggy sorry

It means that you have to keep an original clone alive to have the exact right smoke, all plants grown from seeds will be slightly different than the original. Kind of like saying "lipton Brisk" is iced tea, you can make iced tea lots of ways, but you have to have a Brisk to have the same thing. Anything crossed to BD to make an autoflower is going to be 3 generations or more away from the pure Blue Dream mom and really won't be the same. It may/should still be something great, but the naming convention will really just be for marketing purposes at that point
