I think seynour had this with his think differnt grow , just wondered if anyone else has experienced this??

I have noticed a few threads on this on other sites.

Will upload some pics of it later.

Now i know for 100% fact this has nothing to do with over feeding or a deficiency , her feeding scheduled is....

5 liters of water
15ml of canna coco a+b
5ml of sensical cal/mag
20ml rhizotonic

Other than the bleaching she is a spectacularly health photo fem. Just seems a waste of £250 if this light is going to bleach plants.

The light is also between 12" to 18" and it makes no differnce

The only lights I know for certain that had problems with bleaching the leaves were the early 2011 GLH 290s. I've not seen this with any of the Blackstars and have not experienced it myself with my two, even at the same heights you are using. Is your light the new 2012 model Blackstar? If it is, and they are that much more powerful, the best thing to do is raise the light higher. You can also do a foliar feed of some cal/mag and that will help the bleaching.

its funny, cuz when i read it, it didnt seem like a bad thing, cuz obviously the plant looks really healthy, so i looked it up and found this on wikipedia

"When leaves degreen in the process of plant senescence, chlorophyll is converted to a group of colourless tetrapyrroles known as nonfluorescent chlorophyll catabolites (NCC's) with the general structure:"

-it then goes on to say this

"These compounds have also been identified in several ripening fruits.[17]"

who knows it may just mean that youre doing a good job

Hi muddy.

Yeah its the new 2012 model blackstar , its only the new growth and top leaves the are directly under the centre of the blackstar panel (the UV led is centre aswell) , Witch makes me think it has to do with the uv led?
I wouldnt like to go much higher with the light as she's just starting to pre-flower stretch and i dont want to go strech loads.
