Hi again everyone. On to my fourth overall grow now! I've got two AutoXtreme growing in my tent and I realized I've got enough room to fit another two plants in :) So I transplanted the smaller AutoX into a smaller pot and left the bigger one in it's whopping 15 litre pot. The transplant was successful for the smaller one, but if it doesn't make it I'm cool with that, I'll start a StarRyder instead :)

Just a word or two before I start. I've been plagued by bad luck and bad soil on my last two grows, although I believe I may have found the problem. I switched from BioBizz light to Plagron light and the pH is 5.6 again, which leads me to believe that I'm doing something wrong with the soil. So, I've watered the Plagron light and I'm giving it a while before planting my two new TD seeds to see if it's something to do with the microbes present in the soil.

It was a hard choice between Think Different and StarRyder to be honest, but I currently need yield and potency more than anything, so I've opted for my favourite again :)

I think it's gonna get pretty cramped in there! I'm not planting this time until the soil is right. I've posted for help here to see what the problem is.

For this grow, I'd like people's advice wherever possible please! I want to get another two big ass plants here :)
First question is: Reckon I should top up those two pots with a little more soil? They were full almost to the brim before watering, but after watering they don't look quite as full.

Edit: It's cool, I topped them both up with a bit more soil to level it off :)

Another little update. I think these pots will be too small, so I'm considering going for a deeper, square pot. Perhaps a 15 litre, as that's about 26cm length x 26cm width x 30cm depth. Perfect as I can still fit them in :)

Can anyone share their thoughts on square pots with more depth vs round pots with more diameter? Are they same or will the square one be too restrictive?

with a good sized pot you should be OK either way Billy. Enjoy Think Different, there is nothing wrong with having a favourite to go back to !

Best of luck on this one Billy, I have no experience with dirt, break out the bucket on the next one, and lets grow some monsters!!!

Good luck Bill. Tear it up !!

Billy try running a plant without pH the water and see how you get on, you will easily be able to do a side by side comparisons then.
Best of luck buddy!
