Hello All

Today began my first ever grow with Canna Coco Professional. After research I fed each 3 gallon pot with 1 gallon of distilled water, 1 gram of MegaCrop and 2ml of Cal mag, I’m curious as to how this turns out as always been a soil grower.

What did you pH and measure the feed EC at? I don't start my grows in large pots but you need to watch out for over watering seedlings.

You shouldn't need calmag if using mega crop. I use 0ppm ro water from my ro system and I never use cal mag as MC has calmag in it. Unless you got the very first version of MC which was lacking calmag but they have fixed that problem to my knowledge. I start off at 1 gram using the 2 part and work my way up. You shud be good other than using the calmag shouldn't be necessary. I use the 2 part mega crop and start of with .4 part A and .6 part B which equals 1 gram per gallon of water. I reuse milk gallon jugs after rinsing em out and I use a lid with holes I poked in it with a nail for watering slower so its not just chugging out. I use half a gallon per day in 7 gallon grow bags and I'm using mother earth coco. I get run off every day. But I start with feeding a whole gallon the first feeding just like you did. My first coco grow is going on now also but I grew in dwc hydro and soil so I know some stuff about growing.

One more question. I will drop the cal/mag but do I increase the MegaCrop? Right now she was only given 1 gram to saturate the grow bucket @NorthernLights_420

You shouldn't need more than 1 gram per gallon for the first week to 10 days then I would slowly up the nutes as they grow bigger

@blue . Great report! I just started my first coco grow so I have 1 question. My plants are only 6 days old. I saturated the coco with 1 gram of MegaCrop. I have watered it twice with exact same amount. When shall I begin to increase the feed?

Not sure what EC 1 gram comes out to with your water but seedlings should be fed low around .4 EC. Keeping them constantly wet even in coco isn't best for them. Once the roots have filled the pot you can't over water.
