New Grower Best way to grow 3 strains in a 2x2x5 tent?

Hi guys,

For the sake of variety, I would very much like to grow 3 different strains every time in my grow tent.

I know that considering the yield, it would be smarter to grow one or at most two plants at a time. But before the total amount of yield, I value more having 3 different options, even if that means a lower total yield.

Having said that, how to optimize, what would be the best configuration so that I can grow 3 different strains in a 2x2x5 grow tent?

Smaller pot sizes? What kind of training?

I would do 2 gallon pots, and drop a screen in the tent. Give each plant so much space on the screen and let it roll.

You are right though you would be better off with 2 plants in there for a little more yield. But if variety is what you're after and,don't care about yield too much just throw 3 2gal pots in there with no training and let it ride.

And maybe stagger them so you keep the stash topped up.. depends how much you smoke though. Im in a 0.8x0.8x1.6m tent and me and the good lady can smoke much quicker than i can grow.. ive found that starting 3 plants at the same time gives me a nice harvest but its never enough to see me through until next harvest.. whereas if i pop a new bean every 3/4 weeks im not smokin the heap like its a freakin competition cuz when the stash gets low i have another plant due down. Works best for what i need from my small space.. so atm i have a 1 wk old super skunk a 4 wk old critical +2.0 and an 7 week old blue cheese on the go.. as soon as the blue cheese comes down another will go in.. something to think about.. oh and 2gal pots sound about right for your set up and plans.. good luck with whatever you decide to do bro

That's why I do..I stagger (perpetual)grow..have 3 in all about 30 days apart..all diffrent auto strains. Pop a new bean when I chop. I LST all plants to get the most out of them also

I would go with two in a 10L pots.

2 x 10 litre airpots would be good. I absolutely love 10 litre airpots, its ALMOST like you can't go wrong with watering etc.

But if you want variety, go 3 x 10 litre and stagger as suggested. This is the best way to maximise you space and available light. While one plant veg's it uses sod all light, so the plant/s flowering get to hog more lumens. It works very well.

Yield isn't really about plants, it's more about light. In theory you'll get a similar yield regardless of wether you use 2 or 3 plants.
