ive been growing now for few years and trying my first autoflowering and wondering the best lights to use and fertilizers, should i got with a 15-5-5 or 10-30-10? please let me know what you all have had best results with, thanks

IMO this will depends on goals , setup and budget
best light in order for me are
plasma
hps/CMH
mh
led (has to be top end brand)
T5 (has to be lots of them)
cfl
Money wise hps is still best
Nute wise get one with all trace elements like bibobizz grow organic wise or canna GH vita link, growth tech chemical wise but you have next to no info grow wise
i would be tempted on the 15 5 5 but it does seem more veg than bloom fert

Agito has said it all Depends on your setup and budget Bare min would be CFLs but Hps and Led would be best as for nutes its personal preferance mate

budget doesnt matter, i currently have 1000 watts hps lights from previous growing and only doing about 5-8 plants at time just making sure current lights are fine

Ooooo thats more than fine mate

8 autos under a 1000 is a bit OTT i could easily fit 9 under a 600w hps and up to 16 under 1000w

If you where just making sure currant light where fine why did you not list it then i wouldnt have to list of reams of info?

A 300w plasma light can cost up to £1200 and more in dollars so for most this would be an issue

LEDs and autos are a good fit. Where most of the 3 watt panels available today don't have sufficient penetration for growing photos, they are perfect for autos. When you compare their useful life compared to HPS, factor in the savings on electricity and replacement bulbs, they come out cheaper to run that HPS over the long haul. But since you're already got the HPS, why invest in something else unless you're really intent on making a change.

Regarding the nutrients, you will still need both veg and bloom. I assume you are growing in soil. Depending on your soil mixture you may need veg nutes starting anywhere from week 2, 3 or 4, through week 6, then flowering nutes after that. Autos are a lot more nutrient sensitive than photos. Always start with a low dose, usually 1/4 strength, and work up. I've personally used Fox Farms, General Organics and Advanced Nutrients with good success.
