Ok so as a new grower I have already spent close to and I just ball parking it here but maybe a 1000 bucks trying out different snake oils(ferts). I grow mostly in coco and in a perfect world buying just a few bottles would be amazing.
I have used maxibloom at a steady tsp/gallon rate with some calmag and a few other products and it worked out pretty well.
If thats about the best there is as in cheap and simple I will stick with that. I would like to just have to buy a few products and dial those in and be done with it and get great results. So what products would you guys recommend as far as cheap simple and effective. I have done a a lot of research into the best products and that why I ended up sending so much lol.
I just want to keep it very simple for coco. Thanks guys!!

Also MaxiBloom KISS method, in Hempy here.

I'm on my 4th Hempy run and it's the best i'v had so far. Took awhile to dial in. I only add Protekt as pH+ and trying Terpinator this run.

I see a lot of Hempy fans switching to Jack's nutes.. it costs more initially but your getting much more product, and it breaks down to cheaper per feed in the end.

May I ask, why CalMag with your MaxiBloom? Are you not using tap water?

yes is there plenty of calmag in the tap? and you JUST used maxibloom? If so did it produce well? Most of these mistakes I have made is by listening to others on other forums like the calmag with the maxibloom. At first even I seen on the back of the bag it had a metric shit ton compared to other brands but like 4 people said no I have calmag hungry beasts add TRIPLE the dose it says on the bottle which thank god I never did. I added like 2.5ml per gallon to start plants seemed to never show calmag issues so I stuck with it.

Maxigro and Maxibloom from General Hydroponics is what you are looking for. One teaspoon per gallon will take care of you the entire hydro grow. It has primary, secondary, and micronutrients and there are ph buffers to pull down the high ph of tap water. If used with Koolbloom liquid and dry ripening formula you will be doing great stuff. I would recommend half gro and half bloom for the first two weeks of bloom to get those big plants we all want. Use the liquid Koolbloom at the first sign of bloom to increase bud sites. It is fulvic acid and vitamins at a 0-10-10 rating. Then you add the Koolbloom dry, 2-45-28 to the formula to ripen and stress the plant into a strong and quick finish. The Maxi series sells for $15-$20 a kilo bag and you use a teaspoon per gallon. A 1/4 teaspoon cali mag would be sound insurance. The Koolbloom series makes plants bloom so hard.

Maxi series at work on a big bang from GHC. At about forty days old a meter or more tall.

So you use nothing else? Just those 4 products? how many weeks do you use dry koolbloom?

KISS method is MaxiBloom throughout the grow, from seedling to harvest with KoolBloom at the end.. that's the point of it. Keep It Simple Stoner..

I don't know the rules here as far as linking to another forum, so Google Hempy KISS and find a thred from Ioni or Dali.

Hal looks like he has been having great results with his method though.. kudo's. Myself as a relative newb also I liked the simplicity of it.

I have already switched back to it. Just sick of all this other crap that does not work unless you buy the whole damn line where one bottle is 50 and another is 80 and hell that aint even the base. Yep talking about H&G and canna. KISS peroid from now on for me. Counted it as a very very costly lesson!

Yep, it's a good method for newbs. Dry ferts, mix yourself and not have to pay for water.

Yes, I use tap water.. from everything I read in the above mentioned threads (packed with info) is that tap contains enough Cal/Mag you'll most likely need. Those running RO would need to add supplement.

Seriously, search out the threads I mentioned earlier. You'll be glad you did.
