Hey everyone I have an outdoor pandora that is currently being eaten by japanese beatles. I went out this morning and got all of them off and then sprayed the plant down with neem because that's all I had. Well they're back now munching away. What else can I use to kill the little bastards can someone please help??:help:

Diaotamacious earth will kill the fuckers put a small layer on top of the soil and mix some with some water and spray on the leaves and when the water evaporates the DE will be left as a powder and cut there little bodies open oh and it provides silica for the plants :bong:

LOL, I thought this was a thread about The Beatles!

There are Japanese beetle traps available that work very well. I think Lowes has them, if not, check on line. I believe Gardens Alive also has them. My grandfather grew grapes and they were always a problem for him. He used to build his own traps. Wish I had gotten the design before he passed. You can also pick them off by hand.

Thanks muddy I've just went out and picked them all off again. They're not eating anything but the pistils so far but they're crapping all over the buds and making them stink. This is the first time in about 20 yrs of growing that I have seen them on my plants. They have just never bothered them before. Well anyway I think I will go to lowest and try the trap thing. Thanks again muddy

Hope you sort it JasL, they sound like nasty little bastards!

Must admit I also thought this was a thread about the Beatles as well, in fact I think there's a tribute band called the Japanese Beatles!:D
