Base lines

Hi
My base line is my own cross called Orange Assault it's a cross between (Orange Bud x Lowryder2)X auto AK-47, the line is inbreed to f8 over the last 10+ years. It's not a modern autoflower but a creat breeding tool to create new autos or fastflower strains.

Have a nice day
cu tobe

Right on tobe, sounds good I can see an AK and citrus pairing well.. my terminology is adlibbed so the answer I guess I wanted would be the lowryder2 and the auto that made the ak..
The question I guess I really wanna know is, who in the commercial seed market actually answers this? And is 2020 bullshitting with standout marketing when they say they found one from peurtorico to work with and everyone is using some line of lowryder?

Not that that would be a bad thing..I'm just questioning the lack of transparency..

Hi @theotherone
The auto ak I used was also made with Lowryder, I selected this typ of ak for my cross because the citrus smell was intense and it was a stable strain I tested around 10 different sources of ak strains.
To your theory with other strains that carries the auto gen , it's right there are other, I have grown seeds collected on a island of Papua New Guinea they flower under 24/0 light and are true sativa plants. I have also seen Mighty Mite plants that autoflower, I know there is a Iranian and Afghani autoflower too but these two I haven't grown.

Thanks tobe..cool to learn of cannabis even being on Papua new Guinea but it makes me realize that it really must be everywhere. I had a single seed find root in my yard this spring from last year's pollen chucking here in Canada..there must be a tonne of traveller's stories from unexpected locales.. I'm interested in the Afghani one you mentioned having not heard of that one and being an indica guy..who did you hear had it? Grew up considering Marc's mighty mite hybrids quite a bit and I can't remember the one that, if one ever got ordered..

I guess my initial question was sourced from a gripe, that big money is being made by companies who apparently source autos out of thin air.. the only other digging I've done was with butter bean here in Canada who says they used to work for dinafem and uses their old stuff which led me to try and find out what dinafem had started with but that was a dead end..
