Base Autoflower for breeding

Hey everyone.
What would be a good strain to use as a base for autoflower breeding.
Would anyone recommend Lowryder #2 or maybe something else?
All of your valuable input greatly appreciated.

Sorry forgot to mention, I want to make my own Auto strain from Photo Period X Autoflowering.
I know it's a lot of work but I have the time.

I really like the AutoMazar but fancy something a bit different to try on my project. Was just wondering if there is some generic Auto that breeders use.

i used a cross of lowryder1 and 2 , a male from that crossing to hit my photo og kush , then kept breeding the offspring until full auto , but i wasnt happy with it so back crossed it to the og kush again and have been chasing stable full auto ever since , would have been done to full auto again but i keep doing other strains/crosses and the og only when space is available

i believe useing the actual lowryders speeds up the process , but i dont know that to be proven fact

I understand most things about breeding but this 'Back Crossing' has me a bit confused ATM.
Does back crossing to the original mother mean I have to keep a clone of the mother in a vegatative state or something else?

yes you want to keep the photo plant in veg while pollinating a clone of hers , or flower her and keep the clone in veg

then if your auto version isnt to your likeing or close enough to the original photo version you can back cross your auto version with the photo again , then work those to full auto as i mentioned i did with my og kush

i used the 2 versions of lowryder because there wasnt much else out there at the time

with all the different autos available today id say use an auto that is unrelated and different looking , then when breeding and continued f generations show up you chose ONLY the seeds from plants that are dominant to your cbd strain , it should be easy to tell due to the auto used looking so different

as cres always said , dont breed for the auto trait , it will eventually become dominant anyway

so if you want this new auto strain of yours to be anything like the photo strain , actually avoid breeding for auto

Ok.Would you maybe use an auto of small stature then?I have some Blue Streak that I could use..(if they will germinate).I'll have to visit the forums more often it appears.I originally had thought that Grass o Matics Med Gom might be a good choice,but I decided to buy some photo seed instead.
