I have very little grow experience, did a few greenhouse grows last 2 summers, and some grows 5-7 years back. So all in all I have 4-5 grows completed. I have been following forums for 7 years, so the theoretical part is pretty darn decent. I allways fumble tho putting that theory into practice, so please feel free to help
Finally after 8years of begging, the missus caved, and I a ordered a full tent setup
My setup is as follows:

Homebox Ambient Q80 (80x80x160)

Lumatek 400w superlumens digital ballast (250w, 250SL, 400w & 400SL)
Sylvania SHP-TS 400w
Sylvania Grolux 250w

PrimaKlima Carbon Filter Eco 280m³/h Ø100mm
PrimaKlima 2-Speed Extractor Fan 160/280m³/h Ø100mm

4x 15L Root Pouch grow bags
Biobizz Light Mix soil

2x Mephisto Heisenberg Specials
And 2 Dutch Passion seeds, think its 1x Auto Daiquiri Lime and 1x Auto Girl Scout Cookies

AN Sensi Bloom A+B
AN Sensi CalMag Xtra
AN Carboload
AN Overdrive
GT Ionic CalMag (which I bought cause i got a litre for 8£)

If the Ionic is just as good I'll be getting that for future grows?????

I get my water from a well im sharing with my neighbour which means the background ec is between 0.0-0.2. So i figure the CalMag will come in handy.

Im planing on using Tangs easy auto feeding schedule, but would very much appriciate anyone chiming in, in case problems occur.

Im setting up my temp in the loft, so my main concern is keeping temps up, with ambient temps atm ranging from +5C to -5C. So to keep shit as stable as possible ill be running the lights 24/0.
I may need to try and insulate the tent (would also help if I get alot of condensation on the inner walls of the tent) or get a heater in there, tho the heater is last resort beeing that power is freaking expensive here Will figure out how to stabilize the climate as i go.

My tent has yet to arrive, but will be comming tuesday. Impatient bugger that i am i threw the seeds in paper towls and into my boiler room / man cave thursday evening. 36 hours later im happy to report they have germed very nicely.

Now im without a tent, i did a makeshift cfl setup in the boiler room:

Temps are 26C and RH is around 35%

Will be popping some clear plastic cups on top soon?

Hello badmf ! and welcome ! you have got some excellent sounding kit in there ! and your doing the seeds the same way i do between the plates ! good stuff i look forward in watching dude !
your water is 0.2 ec that is around same as mine ! , i run my nutrient levels right the way through auto grows at 0.3-0.6 ec and never have burning or over feeding or underfeeding problems !
i use calmag 1ml a litre will work fine for you an is a must !
im not sure about your soil i havnt used but in hydro ph is 6.0 and in soil is 6.5 , hope it helps nice grow area mate !

Never had a seed not germ between the plates 20 out of 20 succes rate, so sticking to it

nice one badmf ! its a pleasure for a front seat cheers agreed tangs schedule is easy the way hes set it out ! , the more wording the more confusing it can be ! i would follow that until your more experienced and know where to save the $ !

since i have been growing ive bought cheap ph pens earlyer on and there not worth a carrot tbh mate ! the essentials ph pens have been great for me i get 12 months accurate use before needing a new 1 , wheres the cheaper 1s may only last a month or 2 in my experience but ok to start with before it frustrates the grower . wheres the ppm pens are ok to get cheap 1s as they last a good while !

I hear you Jok81, im getting the Bluelab pens, for exactly the reasons you mention

So im preparing for the tent to arrive and the babies to peek above ground. I found these at the local builders market:

Bought 6 of them (were a quid each) and have used them to make a coat for the tent. Was hoping it would stop condensation on the inner walls of the tent and hopefully bring up the temps a few Degrees. Giving that my loft temps pretty much = outside temps.
Im probably stupid and it does jack shit, but at least it was fun and time passed
Will be looking to stabilize the climate first thing after getting stuff setup, will prob be needing an oil rad to help with that!

The babies got domes and signs now as well

So 3 of them have been above ground for a day, the DP#2 hasnt shown itself, afraid it might be a goner

Hoping my tent arrives today, so i can get setup and start dialing in the grow. If it doesn't come heads will roll and we will have headless headshop owner on our hands[emoji28]

Fingers crossed DP#2 is just late to the party, or this will be a 3 plant grow...

FINALLY, tent arrived..
Got it set up, and most say its alot harder than on the vids if your in a cramed loft where it barely fits

Put the spacecoat on, cause.... well i made it so why not, not sure it does a whole lot.

The last DP has come forth and made its presence clear so i will officially call this DAY 1 (i know its like 2-3, but as god of my world i dont give a fook)

Dont mind the temp reading, tent hasnt warmed yet, i did install the 400w bulb tho to help bring up temps a bit... will have to check later where im at.

Didnt dare turn on the circulation fan, cause im afraid it might drop temps to much.

Could i put the exhaust fan on a timer and run 15min on - 15 min off, to raise temps or how would you go about it???

Anyways, we are off, and ill have to dial in the grow the next couple of days, i figure come weekend i want shit settled and as steady as possible
