Day 3 Sprout
Day 3 we have liftoff.
Temp is holding around 72° night and 76° day
RH is 53-58% range
Lights @65%
Really shouldn't have to do anything but watering for the next 4 weeks for the 5 gal pot, and almost 7 weeks for the 7 gal pots.
But it seems the soil came with critters, I'll just use a mosquito dunk in the watering's for now, and tack sheets. Saving the CJ Dead Bug spray for when the girls get a little bigger. I did throw down a bit of DE around the edges of the pots for now, Just don't want it close to the girls in this early stage.
What's a grow without threat's and challenges.

Day 10 week 1
Day 10
Seedlings are one week old.
Temps and RH have been holding steady for me.
Fighting the dreaded Fungus Gnats, I should know in a week or two if I'm making headway on that battle.
I'm kind of anal about how much the soil settled down into the 5 gallon pot.

Day 17 week 2
Day 17 two weeks old

2 girls in 7 gallon Stonington Blend are doing great IMO.
I think the girl in the 5 gallon pot of Harvest Organics Potting soil is over watered, that soil was drenched wet when I got it.
Removed the self watering bucket for now, to help the pot dry out.
Right now I don't feel like I'm making progress on the gnats. After two weeks I think there is more then when I started. Still using mosquito dunk treated water and stickys.
Day temps 78° Night temps 72°
RH was constantly climbing to low 70's, so I moved the humidifier outside and decided to try controlling the room RH, instead of the tent RH. That resulted in 45-52% RH for now.

Day 24 week 3
This past week I got up the courage and tried my hand at topping. Its been 2 days and they seem ok,
I think I'm winning the gnat war, I broke all the rules and installed a bug zapper on a dusk til dawn timer. The first two nights it was crackling like hell in the tent once the lights went out. Since I'm growing auto's, I cant see were the 15w blue light could be an issue, either way, I did it, and it has made a major difference.
The little girl in the 5 gallon pot was yanked and aborted this past week, not sure if it was the cheap soil lacking nutes or the fact I could not get that dirt to dry out no matter what. She just didnt grow and kept getting more and more yellow.
But I'm happy with the girls in the 7 gal. pots, they are growing nicely.

Day 31 Week 4
No new issues or concerns this week.
Height: 10" and 14"
78° day temp
70° Night temp.
RH 50-55%
18/6 lighting through whole grow.
I think their ready to kick up the PPFD to flower mode, but I will ask in the questions section to be safe.

Day 38 Week 5
They really got their stretch on now.
17" and 20" height
1.5L ph'd tap water every 3 days treated with Mosquito Bits.
RH 48-52%
18/6 light, 300w at 65% dim. 18" high
78° day 70° night
The best news is they are growing almost an inch a day and really flowering.
I had the lights at 75% and the girls were going to sleep 3 hours before lights out, so I dialed it down to 65% and that kept them awake.
Tomorrow they get some BAS Craftblend and more BuildAFlower top dressing.
The Gnat problem is real bad, hope everyones stocked up on the yellow stickys, cause I'm probably going to use up Amazon's whole load by the end of this grow. Plants seem very healthy at the moment, my hope's are to give the soil a more proper drench, once I feel comfortable the girls are big enough to handle a BIG drink. I have some Dr. Zymes coming for that job.
