Hi all, so i started my growing journey June of last year with two Spider Farmer sf1000's and had a great first harvest. Half way through the second run one of them would turn itself on in the middle of the night with the switches off. I thought i had a ghost and was tripping out at first, but yeah i contacted SpiderFarter and after a long battle of words with messed up translations (China) they sent me a new dimmer box. I installed it but that didnt work the dam thing still would turn it self on so im assuming its actually the Driver that is going bad. Now SpiderFarmer is ignoring all my messages, so i figured the Hell with them and will purchase one on my own.
So couple questions here, has anyone ran into this problem? will any dimmable 100w driver work? will it explode if i leave the driver on? Does any one know a good US based store to buy drivers? Any help would be appreciated. Happy growing all.

I'm confused by your diagnosis;

How can a light that has power switched to it by a timer come on by itself?

This sounds like a bad timer.

No theres no timers on my set up i turn them on by hand with the switches at the top of the unit.

A few girls from my last run 2 spider farmer SF's 1000 and 1 viparspectra XS 1000

You have 2, can you swap the ballast to verify that is whats wrong?

If you swap the order of daisy chain, does that fix it?
The swap is a good idea, i will try this on the next grow i think i guess it also matters if when i take off the driver if its all soldered up in there. If it is i might not do the swap, and just get the new driver. I didnt daisychain the lights.
