is it normal for inline fan to be replaced after 10-12 months of 24/7 use?
- im on my 2nd one and so far still working..
how long can/should filter be used before replacing?
- my 2nd filter pad definitely dirtier pad but airflow still strong/no noticeable smell.

---

anyone running t4 cloudline infinity?
is this fan a more permanent upgrade compared to the inline vivosun/ipower?
how long is the average lifespan before replacement?

been reading good reviews/quieter air flow + better environment control with rh/temp settings!
just dont want to spend the extra $$ if it will have to be replaced in less than a year for 2x the price..

i know ill have to upgrade/replace fans soon but would like to hear some feedbacks if anyone is using the fans above!

I've run the Vivosun 6" inline fan almost 3yrs now and still going but would like to replace it with a newer fan just to try out. As far as carbon filters I clean the pad after each grow and replace the carbon filter once a year as I can start smelling it out the exhaust port just before then.

I have one similiar to the cloud and they are solid built fans strong motors. Mines been running a probaly close to two years no problems yet

My Phresh filters last for about 2 years. My current Vortex inline fans have lasted for many years. I bought a backup and it's been collecting dust. These kinds of products can often be a crap shoot for longevity and quality. If you begin to smell the green, then it's time to change the filter.

Filters: I suggest run them for as long as the output has no detectable smell. Otherwise, change the fabric pre-filter about once/year.

Fans: Lifetime will vary from model to model, bearings and bushing wear out, things work loose, noise increases, etc. I have a 6" CanFan Max Pro running constant now for over 5 years. It seems quiet, but after 5 years the noise has likely increased, and in coming months I will probably replace it (becomes my backup) and get an AC Infinity T6 fan, unless someone knows of a quieter one.

would love to get 2+ years with my 4" vivosun.. but so far im 1 for 2.
phresh is always popping up when i search for filters! will definitely look into those as well.

2-vivosuns each lasted 1 yr. Motor gets worn and weakens.
I'm looking for a new quality one now as I write.

im 1 for 2 so far my self with the 1st one dying in less than a year! will definitely be looking up some future replacements

thanks for the replies everyone!

Just want to double check that your carbon filter cfm is at the very least the same cfm or higher (my preference) than your inline fan.
