Hello.

I'm a total newbie and this is my first grow so might be a sort of a stupid question, but I need to make this clear to myself.

So I got 3 DP Power Plant seeds and 2 DP AutoXtreme seeds germinating.

The PP's were put between wet towels and craced open in like 2 days, then later planted into soil and after 2 days they popped out of the ground. So so far so good.

The AutoXtremes were put straight to Peat Pellets on 07.19, so it's been 7 days now and so far no sign they're going to show up ) So the question is, is this normal timing and I have to just wait a bit longer or I did something wrong? :help:

Thanks )

Give it a bit longer bro.

Some take up to two weeks to pop up bro, patience is your friend at this stage. :peace:

Welcome

Hi Power.P

Welcome to the forums buddy :)
So, you germed them using the paper towel method, and then popped them in soil, and they raised their heads (before going in the jiffy pellet?)
Or did you take them out of the paper towel with tail showing, and put it into jiffy pellet - and now 7 days later nothing has happened?

7 days seems like quite a wait for something to happen - I've always had some action in 5 days or less. (but as TaNG & pal says - it can take longer)

There's probably "safer" ways to get going when you start out - germing direct to soil has always worked for me. Others will chime in soon, but if you'll like some germing advice, just hit me up and i'll be happy to explain my method (which is almost the same as the dutch passion method form their site)

While i'm here :) why not pop up a hello in introductions for a warm welcome from our members ^_^

All the best
Blue

Thanks, I'll wait a bit longer then )

blue, you got me wrong,
I got 2 different strains, first got germinated in paper towel then soil, the second went directly to jiffy pellets. I just wanted to check 2 different methods at a time to see the difference.

Ahhh hehe, i see now :)

Flipping stoners eh!?! when will they learn to read lol

Not to create another thread I'll ask here.
When my regulars (Power Plant) have just popped out of the soil, how much water do I have to feed them with?
I guess just a little with a spray once a day?
From what I have learned, the main thing is not to overwater them, but there's no exact schedule of course )
Advice?

It's easier than you think to overwater ;) Just maintain "moist" soil around the seedling and you'll be set. Not soaking wet and not overly dry, find the sweet spot :peace:
