I have heard that autoflower plants are not as potent a their same strain in photo.

My last auto was pretty potent and you could not tell it was auto. The yield is lower but they grow twice as fast so it just about makes up for it. One thing I really like is I can have my veg and bloom in the same room. Good if your limited on space. Also waiting 3.5-4 months for a harvest sucks. You want 3 harvest a year or 6? There are some people pulling large autos but most of us will be around 1-4 ounces a plant dried.
O ya for the amount of time for sure. I can almost have 2 harvests growing autos in the time it takes me to grow 1 photo. I also usually grow in small spaces like closets which make it hard to see the full potential of a photo when growing from seed. I think my photos were 16" tall when I put them in to bloom and now there 3 foot tall and too wide for my 2 foot wide closet. Usually my autos just fill out my space.

It's nice for breeding since autos bloom faster, a person can improve a strain in less generations.
I meant there are more generations in a shorter period of time. So one could cross potent strains and breed quicker than photo plants that need dark rooms or waiting until every autumn...

every auto I've grown kicked the ass of the photos I grew.........there's some GREAT auto weed out there!
