So this is a little much, but here goes fellow growers...
So I purchased some beans from someone and when I purchased I was told they were auto seeds. Now I planted 2 seeds directly into soil on Aug.31I had them under 18/6 cycle. At day 50 still no pistols popping and no sign of sex.So I wrote the seeds off as photo seeds and switched to 12/12 cycle that was on Oct.19.They have been in flower since.I think they were actually autos idk because on 1 of the plants all pistols are almost all orange. The other is about 25% orange pistils.Im going to order a usb microscope on amazon to check trichs.
What should I do???? I have been feeding cali pro bloom AnB,Should I stop and start flushing? What happens if I let em grow in flower too long???

The pics of orange pistils are from last week there almost all orange as of this morning 11/29...

I would continue to grow them and finish them on 12-12 as you're already on that track..

just some tidbits...If you've got more of those beans you're going to run in the future..and.. you believe they are autos...run them at 20 hour lightcycles..start to finish..even through flower. That's the way autos will thrive.

if you start tinkering with light now you will cause problems if they are photo...as they may reveg or Hermie. However, the drawback..growing autos on a photo flowering light cycle (less 20hr
Is going to deprive them of another 8 hrs a day of light that could be used to bulk them up

cheers

Thanks I'm going to finish on 12 cycle. Now idk if they are autos or photos. This would be week 12 from seed,if they are autos is that a long time for a full grow?idk the life cycle of the plants the guy just told me the strains they were...Should I just start flushing or check trichs first,I just ordered a usb microscope?

Sorry this is my first grow

Thanks

Sounds like you have another month to go or so if you flipped them at 50days

I agree with Ron..you have awhile to go yet..
Keep feeding it as normal during flowering..trichomes with be your guide..wait for amber to come..more amber more body stone..and degrading thc..more milky..more uplifting racy..

Taper nutrients off all together..

You'll want to time it so last couple weeks you just using pH'd reverse osmosis water..6.5..leaching nutrients out of soil..and allowing plant to to use up stores nutrients it has built up will provide for a quality bud when finished. Fan leaves will all gradually yellow..which is normal

so i dont worry about the pistils turning orange?

I use the pistols changing color as a guide. When I see about 80% of them turn from white to orange/brown and start to shrivel up into the bud I know I have about 2 weeks left. The following week is when I take out the microscope and start checking out trichomes. There are a lot of indicators you will learn to tell when you bud is finished, but in my opinion pistol color is by far the easiest initial guide.

I would throw out a guesstimate at another 4 weeks yet for your girls just lookin at the pistols.
