I'm new to autos, I've got my zkittles on 12/12 because of my photos, now finished. Can I change the lights to 18/6 or will it reveg my zkittles? cheers Rob

I'd wait for more definitive answer since I haven't personally done this but I would think you would want to slowly extend the time lights are one to minimize stress of more light.

Autos will not re-veg. 99% of the time. We have had stories of that happening but a rare thing. Genetics is Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

More light more growth, if it was me I'd definitely go to 14/10. Then a few days later up to 16/8, wait a few days then 18/6, could even keep increasing the light cycle you to 20/4,
But that's just me lol.
I run my tent 24/0 the whole way through the grow,
What age are they?

Changing light schedules is no prob...any-O-light schedule will do, autos don't give a shit as long as they get it....

When I get to it, about 3-4 nights per week, I turn off the lights for ~5-6 hours while I sleep. I haven't noticed any problems I could attribute to these irregular periods of darkness (not daily and not exact same times daily). But I also can't identify any specific benefits from dark periods. I just presume, based on all the diverse comments I've seen on AFN, that some darkness thrown in is overall good (or does no harm, while saving money) with autos.

I presume with autos it's more a matter of daily or other cumulative light dosage, with daily consistent exact scheduling of off times not required. Am I right or wrong about this?

Yes and the sooner the better (growth) I’ve finished off a photo 12 / 12 then went 20 / 4 with no issues but increased growth
