Indoor Autoflower Grow Contest

Hey.

So i'm thinking it would be a good idea to have a little contest where everyone involved would grow the same strain with "Awards" for highest yield best photo etc what does everyone think? Who would all want to get involved?

Of course this would take time to put together we would all have to decide a strain get seeds and wait for our current grows to finish or whatever. Too bad we can't have a "most potent" award.

I'm game but everybody uses completely different set-ups adhering to different budgets so it would be extremely difficult to get a level playing field. What would be good would be for a seedbank to throw us all a couple of beans from an experimental or new variety and then watch the results roll in from loads of different perspectives. That way then you could accommodate them in your next grow as all of us are all at different stages in our grow processes and not everyone has multiple grow rooms on the go. A little market research in the process and everyone benefits!

if we can agree on something fair then I'm completely game, I think it would be ace. let's get more suggestions rolling in. Somebody may have done something similar before and have a clue how to organise it. We could possibly even ask the original breeder to judge it!

We could do a bonzai tree competition. Say we take a stretchy strain that can be lst'ed well and have to try get it as close to the bonzai from Karate Kid 3 as possible. I'd compete the shit out of that.

Like this only with buds instead of leaves.

We could do with a strain nobody has grown yet so it's a blank canvass and no advantage to anyone that has already worked with it. I'm sure stitch or somebody else may have a few new breeding projects that they have not released yet.

It's good as I may be able to go head-to-head with Agito using organic nutes and get my ass kicked!

there was a party cup growoff up here a little while back and is one of the only ways to make a contest like this fair at all....... my hydro setup will know the socks off of my soil no problem.
