Terple,
High,
I was just wondering when growing autoflowers, is it best to go by flowering footprint or veg footprint for the light? Because of heard that autoflowers don't need as much light intensity and still produce the great yields. So, when using a light would you recommend going by the flower footprint or the veg footprint?

Thanks and happy growing!

It seems that if you have a weaker ppfd light that you need a longer light cycle 20/4-24/0 but with a stronger light 18/6 is fine. You should go by the ppfd chart looking for something around 500umols or higher that covers your space well.

Which light do you have in mind?

Currently I'm using a TSW 2000 by Mars Hydro (310 W) in a 3*3 tent for my flowering chamber. And I have a TS 1000 that I plan to use for my breeding tent to produce feminized autoflowering seeds in a 2.7*2.7 tent.

That is their ppfd chart for the 1000. It would be fine for what you want to do.

Good to know thanks man. To be honest when I look at those charts I just get confused LOL over time I'll start to learn what they mean.

Here's one on ppfd

Another on light spectrum

It's good to know these things because there are a lot of bad companies using hotwords to sell manure and it makes you a better grower.
