Damn, I've been slacking off! Been going through one of my moody spells. Sorry. Here she is at day 63.
It's been a bit of a saga. A little pH adjustment (got a pH pen), playing with nutes (still not just right) but she's survived and is putting on some weight.
I had to tie the main cola off to the side, it was sticking way up and I didn't want the rest of the plant to be too far from the light. It's not as pretty as one standing up high and proud but that's just fine.
The buds are getting really firm and pretty stinky. I'm not expecting any kind of huge yield but it should be pretty respectable. Probably she needs at least another week. I haven't checked the trichs yet but it's pretty near time.
Something I'm curious about - since she went into flower some of the leaves have continued curling at the tips and getting dry and crispy from the ends in. Thoughts?
Day 75, ready for the chop tomorrow or next day. Very few amber trichs quite a few cloudy. She took longer than expected but the poor thing was tortured from time to time.
A week or so ago I took a little bud and dried it. Me like 'um. Nice flavor, nice effect.
The next project is ready to go, all but seed selection. I'm going to try a hempy for the first time!
And here's the result. Not a huge yield but at 2.3 oz. I can't complain. Smoke is sweet, as advertised. It's definitely a body buzz with some disorientation thrown in for fun. Definitely worth the effort.
