The plant has been looking a bit limp after about 14 hours of light for a while. Im now finding that the whole plant is loosing its nice green color and starting to look a bit yellow. I have been adding some cal/mag every now and again. Their is also abit of purple stem and vein going on. the flowers are looking in good condition but im worrying they wont in a week or so. I have only added fish mix which is lacking in phosphorus but has alot of nitrogen. Any ideas how to prevent the yellowing from carrying on.

Looks like calcium def.check your runoff water and make sure its correct 6.3 or 6.4. I would flush them with ph water that has 1/2 strenth nutes that contain npk and micro nutes. If your runoff ph is ok you don't need to raise it just use a balance fert with nit, phos, potasium, manganiese, copper, and zinc.

My run off has been tested and was pretty low. 5.7. what should i put it in at to get it up to 6.2/3 ? would cal/mag not of added the required cal anyway. thanks for the quick reply.

Got your PM, upload a pic so we can have a better look :peace: Hazy

Does your tap water have chloramines in it? Chloramines do not evaporate. They affect plants with as little as 3 ppm in the medium. They act as a hormonal disrupt er and prevent uptake of Ca, Mg, Zn, Mn. They also make seedling germination take longer and sometimes fail, and produce hermies at a higher rate. My tap water has ludicrous amounts of it. I spent months and months trying to figure it out, because I had an RO filter. RO filter does not remove chloramines. Nothing does except high wattage UV (alternately you can leave your jg of water out in bright sun for 4 hours) or an ultra high pressure triple pass platinum carbon filter (that will set you back about $5000).
