Hi..I'm not exactly a new grower, I've had a few productive outdoor grows, but due to neighbors that refuse to mind their own fucking business, I've been forced to retreat indoors. I have 3x Fast Buds Girl Scout Cookies and 3x Fast Buds Mexican Airlines. Will 400w hps be enough for all 6? I have a 200w cfl I can supplement with for flowering if necessary. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

are you going to be in a tent?

I'll snap a photo asap, but it's just 6x 3 gallon pots in a utility closet. Ventilation and temps are under control.

I have been told 100w per plant is a good formula to use. I am currently growing 4 under a 400w lamp and they are doing great! I'm At day 32 and its getting crowded in my tent , so I am glad I didnt try to squeeze 5 or 6 in there.

I'd go with the larger 600 watt hps, which you can always dial down the output with the dimmer on the ballast. You can never have too much light, 600 is a good sweet spot if you're staying small.

I really appreciate the advice, guys. It does seem a little cramped. I can do something else with 2. Thanks a lot.
