Got a great deal on a 400 watt hps/mh combo on ebay. Are there any known problems with I-Power?

I bought the 400 hps/mh with the dimmable ballast and regular wing last year . Have it in a friends grow right now , but have never had a problem myself with it .

Saw some negative comments on internet about bulbs blowing out after short time, but that could be from fingerprints.
I always handle my bulbs with either gloves on or use a no lint towel to swap them out .
For a cheap digital ballst set up , it has worked without a problem for a year so far and is still going strong . Only reason I lent mine out is that I have been swapping everything out for LED . If I were to set up another HID room , I would not hesitate to pick up another of these.

And it could just be a cheap bulb. Do yourself a favor, and pick up a backup bulb, before you need it. I was looking at I-Power as well. Thinking about grabbing a 600 watt. I am wanting to go to a larger tent. Probably a 48"X48"X72". The only complaint I have heard, is bulbs blowing early, but like I said, could be just cheap bulbs. But I too would like to hear from those that have, and use them.

They would have to be cheap bulbs. 400 watt ballast, MH bulb, HPS bulb, cheap reflector, timer, and adjustable hanger, for $128.00.
Just hooked up an I-power ballast yesterday, and the HPS bulb is already shot. The bulb was made by I-Power. The reflector was a joke, and was bent in shipping.
Any recommendation on quality brands of HPS bulbs at reasonable price?
