Anybody know why?

Anybody know why these little guys are laying down?..did I not put seed in deep enough? they are otherwise healthy!..Its the only 2 out of 12 laying down.

They become leggy because the lights are too far. Way too far.
Then they are laying because the stem is thin and long and cant hold the weight.

Burry the seedling with soil so just the first inch of stem is above soil level, and lower the lights.

I dont use LEDs. But I guess 20-30 inch above plants is fine. If its a cheap led might wana go closer..

Thanx Shrederr..yeah 2 cheap leds!....I moved them about 10 inches above plant to see how they do for a few days..

I see you are using a blurple led. Most led manufacturers want 36” from the seedlings and veg. Check with your manufacturer for proper distance. Good luck
