Hi guys quick one who has grown auto critical cheese ? If so what method used I shall start my seedling off soon keep watching!

I would go with the wet paper towel technique but I have seen more and more with autos that growers are going directly into the finish pots from seed. If you do this I would only make a 2-4cm deep hole, cover with medium and water lightly. I personally like to see that my seeds have cracked. This is what my method is.

I get 2 plates with papertowel/kitchen towel on the bottom. i then wet the papertowel and cover it with another piece of papertowel. I then put on the other plate to form a dome. This will help keep the humidity in. I then sit the seeds in my airing cupboard and check every 6-8hours. Germination can take anywhere from 12-96hrs I have known some to take 7 days but generally if the seeds have not germinated within the first 5 days there imo is little hope.

As soon as the seed have cracked with a small root I pot into finish pots which for me are 6.5l airpots. Give them a nice watering in and under a 125w cfl just to get established for 3-7 days then under the 600w hps.

That is what we have been advising to. Get your auto,s into your finish pots asap. Ideally, from germination like you have done. For just 3 days old they look fine mate.
