Live Stoner Chat Anybody grow like Mr. Canucks Grow from YouTube?

I've been watching this guy and can't believe how easy his grow method is and he seems to get solid results. Basically he grows in coco mixed with a little perlite and 4tbs of 4-4-4 from Gaia Green per gallon and just waters for the first month. Then all he does is top dress with a mixture of 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 every 3 weeks or so, nothing else.

Every other thing I see seems to require a dozen ingredients to start or to be feed throughout the grow and this just seems too good to be true, but he swears by it. I searched the forum and couldn't find anyone bashing him and only a few people talking about him.

p.s Gaia Green seems to only be readily available in Canada, Dr. Earth seems to be the US equivalent.

Kind of following his method for my grow,Just waiting for my seedling to get some decent roots so i can transplant her to final pot.

Pretty sure for his auto's he uses a 75 to 25% ratio of grow - bloom to start then reverses that for his top dressings later on,Only thing different i'm doing is using a pre amended soil mix (root farm) instead of coco,Theres a grower on here that used the same mix and got him through the whole grow without any amending what so ever lol Just added some kelp i think in his feeds a couple times and plants were lush green right up till the end

Good luck! You're not doing a grow journal? I wasn't able to find 2-8-4 from Dr. Earth, looks like the closet thing they have is 3-9-4, is that what you went with?

I'm still undecided about starting a grow journal. Maybe when they pop up. Dr Earth doesn't make 284,so I went with the 394.

I sub to his channel and have been thinking of using his method or something similar to it. I am confused on what he does exactly though regarding his feeding schedule. Some of the info seems contradictory, either that or I'm always too stoned to understand what he is saying.

Thanks, yeah that's one of the ways I took from his explanations. What throws me off is on one of the videos he says he does the 444 mix in the coco, then a mix of the 444 and 394 at 4 weeks of flowering as a top dressing, which 4 weeks of flowering isn't counting how many weeks he vegged for so thats much longer than 3 weeks. He mentions it's the first feeding since day 1.

Then 1 more top dressing at a later time, and those were all he fed. That being only 2 top dressing feedings through the entire grow, the other method would have more than 2 top dressing feedings.
