New Grower Any ideas on how to keep your plants watered while on vacation?

Hi all,

I'm leaving on vacation for about a week and have a couple of plants that need watering every 3 days. They are both in the bloom stage and planted in soil.

Have any of you tried Water globes or water stakes? Any other ideas that have worked for you are also welcome.

Basically, you can use perlite, but any wicking agent will work. I used Gs-1 Growstones.
The concept is to fill a tray, bucket, plant saucer, storage bins etc... with the wicking agent ( perlite. Etc.) And fill it with water and put your pot on top of the pelite, this works well with Fabric pots, but mostly any kind of pots work, the trick is NOT to let your pot sit in WATER, fill the swick with water just one INCH below your pot.

Leave spouse @ home? Seriously tho, a wicking method as @bklyndiaz suggested should work... I grow peppers in self watering double bucket systems, works great, but haven't tried it with cannabis yet.

Nice @Authur, I'm actually, setting up my next grow the same way! Two bucket one inside the other, with wicking agent in the bottom bucket!
