So currently im using a 600w hps but its too costly so thinking of giving led a go
So im thinking 2 mars hydro ts600 or 1 tsw2000
In my 120x120x180 tent with 4 photos
Cost of the light is a little bit of a prob really need to be under £300

I have used hps in the past and Mars lights are great I have used ts600,1000,2000l and am using them all currently, I definitely support them and the lights are great for the price the whole ts line especially although efficiency wide the sp series and I haven't heard as much about but I'm sure the fc line is great as well. I'm from Canada and I'm not really sure of the exchange rate but from what I understand and have experienced 2 tsl2000 is going to blast the entire space and give excellent coverage over the whole tent. They are each ideal for 2x4 according to much smarter more well versed and respected people then I. Having said that really I don't think you're going to go wrong with mars but to get the amount of light you're used to with your hps coverage wise I think that's about the best entry level light series is the ts. So I wish you the best with whatever you choose and hopefully some more help and information can be found on here as there is a wealth of knowledge in pretty much every area from lights to different mediums so I'm sure you'll get the help you need my friend.

We've all been there...changing, upgrading, reading, comparing, counting pennies... Imagine doing it without forums like AFN or any valid info. Being older and retired and growing to please myself, I like getting my monies worth to settle that nagging age-old question we all have...."how'd I do?".
I slowly changed from 1000w hps to led years ago, going through the blurple stage...(glad you missed that) and into led whites. Still I wanted quality grow power at my dollar value.
Actually, blurples were good enough to convince me to change but I was quickly into the cobs/qb groups. Most upgrades to my grow area were done by a budget of $150 per and over time and gifting from my lady, I've ended up with a mix of everything which gives me the adjustment I like as my flower room always has ladies at different stages. Guess what, they all grow weed! Oh you can spend more money but I find it more fun to piece meal it....
Final thought...one of my primary lights is a mars hydro ts1000...at 150w under 150 bucks fits in well and has definitely shown its value. I run a 3x4x8 area with an accumulated wall pull over 550w. Although I still run a blurple as a supporting role and a small hps for heat at times, it's the white leds of cobs and qbs that I notice plants moving toward.

I have a TSL2000 in my 2x4 and it has been a great upgrade. Excellent even coverage with minimal heat. My plants love it.

Im leaning towards the ts600 if i was to hang 2 in my 3x3x4 i should have 1200w with a veg area of and a flowering are

What have u been running autos or photos
How meny and hows rhe yeild been

The ts600 only pulls 60w from wall if im not mistaken. Mine is not new so might have changed but I dont think it did. I dont know why I thought you were running a 4x4 tsl wouldnt fit in a 3 foot space I don't believe.

I have used a grow light calculator that was on a different site plus reading through reviews on this site and checking in on journals of people with the same size space I was going to be using and lights I wanted to look into. Probably doesn't really help much but that's what made it easy to pick the right sized Mars fixture for me once I decided I was going to use their products.

TS600 pulls around 90W from the wall. Be wary of the names not being the actual wattage @Bmurrciless

Also a big upgrade from the ts600 to the ts1000 is the dimmer control.

I got my 600 from a buddy who gave up after one round so I never really looked into it but I tend to agree the ts1000 having the driver is a nice upgrade and is handy and you can remove the driver on them from the ts1000 up which can help with heat a bit
