New Grower AFN Get Together/BBQ

So I'm sure this is a dumb idea, but here in Michigan we accept Medical Marijuana Cards from all states and the club i go to has monthly bbq's and charities where we all get together and medicate and share strains and chit chat etc.

So I was thinking we should do something like this for the AFN.

We would plan it probably for next summer because i know there are people from all over the world who would show up. Also we would have to have more then just 2-3 people showing up. We can make it are own little mini cannabis cup. except instead of coffe shops WE the people who breed and grow can compete for some cool stuff. or we can just all chill.

What do you think

Nope. The plan is to make it as private as possible. Probably find someone with some acres. In the country away from neighboors and what not so if we get loud no one will complain. plus a big bomb fire nothing huge. I though of doing somthing big like a whole pig roast and a few local bands some 50/50 raffles. with prizes like clones/seeds/pipes/bongs/grow equipment. some public speakers. seminars. grow class's. glass blowing. but something like that would require a budge which would have to be reached priop and probably would have to make it a paid entrance/ticket thing to get the money to get everything. And I'm sure i'd have to find a few other people on this AFN who live in MI who can help. but thats the HUGE picture.

Right now I'm just thinking a 20-30 person get together in a back yard around a fire blazing some good genetics, bullshiting over some beer and burgers and hot dogs/brats nothing fancy but imagine if 20 people show up with 20 dif kinds of bud/hash/medibles and we all try to smoke each other out. We'll need to have a sick table for the people who are WEAK!!!!!! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!

This might not even happen but if we get enough interested I'll find a location and get thing rolling.

is it not beter too do it like on the http://www.spannabis.com/en/index.html we AFN rent a stand/space en ath night BBQ and we do a AFN autoflowering cup!!
no risk for us growers and smokers there!!

Well If we made it public then everyone would be required to have a medical card. so renting a public spot would be out of the questions. we can however replicate the same thing for us privately on someone property

Wow, a pot party in Michigan...!!!!! Why couldn't this be so back when my office was in Madison Heights???? some of us 'cooler' guys and gals would party up in the wilds of who knows where...back in the woods......just a bit more stealthy...

I like the idea but I couldn't make the trip, just too far for me. I had a fellow AFN member over yesterday, second time we've gotten together. Had a good time talking seeds, strains, and sharing our fall harvests!
