Hi all I a started 10 aa seeds in a power towel and they all slipt open so 3 days ago I put then in the pots and put them under light I have had 2 pop up but no sign of any others yet do u think there is something wrong or will they come up it time I'm worried they won't come up I put them a inch under the soil pls advice me also how much water to I need to give this seeds in the soil and also do I need to have a fan on to blow air round the grow place and all so do I need to put the outline and carbon filter on at this stage will this help them come up cheers

Morning mate, patience is the key,iv had seeds sat in the soil for 14 days before they pop there heads above the soil..Don't over water them just keep the soil moist, not waterlogged but also not dried out..once they have all sprouted start yr fan this will help strengthen them and move the air about your space..I run my filter from start to finish but some people only run it once flowering and smell starts so the choice is your mates :toke:
Check out the new growers section mate this may help https://www.autoflower.org/forum36/forum35/forum44/

Hi,
Ill try and answer as many as possible.. all answers are my opinion not gospel.

>> 1 inch under the soil is quite alot. Your seedlings will naturally grow upwards however next time try just 0.5cm under the soil obviously they will break through quicker.

>> having a fan to circulate air is not bad at this point, and will help seedlings develop a sturdier stem but no carbon filtration will be needed for at least 2 weeks.. usually carbon is left running 24/7 but if these are your only plants they will not be producing any smells yet due to their immaturity.

>> your soil should have been moist before you put the seedlings in but not wet/damp/soggy to the touch, try avoid watering at this stage as you dont want to rot the seed/root/seedling.

>> some people use humidity domes over new seedlings (like when cloning) to give them a better start.. but it is in no way required.

edit.. damn coop beat me to it, have I really taken 10 mins to write a reply?! :toke:

Thanks they should come though then beeing and inch down and I have put them under light is that ok

Yup, a light is good, seedlings like warm soil so your light can only help as it will probably give off some heat.

You could also carefully dust away some soil so that is has less to break through, if the soil is compacted it might be having a hard time doing that.

Also, depending on which way the taproot was pointing when the seeds were sown, they may be trying to self right themselves which could explain the delay.
Another thing to mention.. your seeds wont all grow at exactly the same rate so don't be too worried if one or two lag behind.

Yes cheers mate I have 3 up now they are 3 days old so will the others catch up when they breck though cheers
