My hay like harvest from earlier this year
Good Morning!

So I flipped to 12/12 14 days ago and I am starting to see little budletts / lots of pistils forming. My plant is somewhat large, especially for me. I am growing in a shed in my back yard, and the temps range from 68 all the way up to about 92. Those temps will probably climb as summer rolls in too, so I am nervous about that. I have read that if I add CO2 into my environment, that will allow the plant to take the heat abuse a little better. Maybe that's not the main reason for it, but a by-product? Anyways, attached are a couple pics of my plant.

What training should I be doing now that my plant is flowering? And I am wrapping up week 2 of 12/12, but the flowers really did not start until this week. So am I at the end of week 2, or the end of week 1 really?

Should I be LST'ing some the branches to create a more even canopy? I LST's, FIM'ed, and Supercropped in veg, multiple times. Does training stop? Height in my space is not an issue. Mainly the temps, but I can't add an A/C unit out there, my electric will not support it as I already have a Hurricane fan as well as my Mars Hydro TS3000.

Looks perfect to me. Wish I had a remedy to your high heat but everything looks good.

Thank you! I spoke with the hydroponics store and they stated adding CO2 will help the plant deal with the heat better. Maybe they are just trying to sell me stuff though lol.

You need a sealed environment that can be controlled in every aspect to capitalize on c02. Far too expensive when growing just one plant and if it could be afforded you would be running HVAC anyway lol

Spend time with your girl, read a book, talk to her.......you will give her CO2.... and get a fan on her...........keep air flowing..... she will reward you..

lol, I have actually hear of people talking to plants. Whenever my wife goes to check out the progress (it's for her, I don't partake) I always ask her to talk to them. I have a fan on her, although am I supposed to be aiming the fan at the tops? Or above the canopy? Or does it matter? I'm still on the fence about CO2. Since I don't have a sealed environment I think it would be a waste?

You want airflow all throughout the plant to maximize c02 exchange. It would be an incredible waste as atmospheric c02, 400ppm, is sufficient for your needs.

I think some silica helps with heat stress too but man these plants live and flower out in high temps so fingers crossed she has some equatorial sativa in her and she takes it like a champ.

Thanks, @Mizzo81 for the response, sorry I'm just seeing it now. I have abandoned the CO2 idea. I am looking for a dehumidifier which will help my needs. I also ordered a much larger extractor fan, so that should help get stale air out much quicker. It is pretty musty in there. Starting to see some serious deficiencies in some fan leaves. Definitely nitrogen toxicity going on, and got some wear discoloration on a lot of the fan leaf edges. I will be making a post in the infirmary section to get some assistance.
