Hey guys, Milfhunter here. Im in the process of putting my first ever grow tent together. I have wanted to get the AC Infinity Cloudline T8 with the temperature and humidity controller (linked below) to go in a 1.5mx1.5m or 5x5 tent. A couple of popular youtubers use this fan which is how I found it.

https://www.acinfinity.com/componen...h-temperature-and-humidity-controller-8-inch/

Now heres my problem. I was pulling the trigger on this bad boy today and while going through the checkout the cheapest shipping option I could choose was a cool 106 euros! total of 275 euros, shipped, with the 25ft of ducting and clips too :eek1: thats with a 20 percent off code from our boy Mr. Canuck. (the code is canuck20 for anyone interested) would be 318,30 euros otherwise.

Can any guys recommend me a fan which is similar to this one but cheaper to ship to mainland europe? I really like the easy simple to use controls on this fan being a complete and utter noob. And stealth is priority for me so must be quiet.

Or even with the rip off shipping is this fan worth that price? I dont mind paying for good stuff, but still dont want to go throwing money around for no reason either.

While we at it anyone wanna reccomend a good 1.5x1.5 grow tent? the only things I have bought so far are my lights and seeds haha.

Thanks in advanced
Peace.

Update

I just decided to go with it and pull the trigger, I like the humidity and temp controller. Might have overpaid due to shipping but its done! Also ordered a 1.5x1.5 Gorilla grow tent

Good luck! I have the 4 inch variant and the temp and humidity stopped working on the controller everything else works fine but it just shows two lines where temp is supposed to be displayed. went out within a month :(

that's a pretty big unit for that space. my 4 inch works awesome for a 2.5ftx2.5ft

Hope you have have a good amount of incoming air or your liable to collapse that tent. I'm using 2 of these pancakes in 2' x 3' x 5' space. 1 intake 1 exhaust and it works great without having to run ac on high

I went with the 8 inch because I read in the guide section that for 1.5m x 1.5m x 2m you need a fan capable of 360m3/hour and the 6 inch version does 351cfm on their website so thought I better get the bigger one. There was a considerable jump between the 6 inch and 8 inch with the 8 inch doing over double!

@TheOne have you contacted customer service? They didnt offer to send you a replacement??

@Dan34475 thanks for the info. So I would need an intake fan with this tent too? I thought it would be fine with a vent open at the bottom and a fan just inside. But I am a complete beginner so have no experience what so ever! What would you recommend? Whats a pancake fan??... I like pancakes ;)

Pancake fan = computer fan. I have one down low to pull in cool air and one up by my lights to pull out hot air. Use oscillating fan on the plants to move air through them to help cool and move humidity. This space is right next to my bed and doesn't bother me a bit. My first space is on the other side and I have a 4" vivosun at floor level and a built in rv type fan in the ceiling. Works fine but a lot greater noise---I shut it off at night when lights go out.
