Hello guys. ( sorry for new post but it’s new topic) I have 6 plants in 4x4 and have 530W led light. ( I put picture ) I was wondering. Should my plants be pushed together or spread till the end of walls in the tent. ( when they pushed together they cover one another a bit. If I spread them over all tent , I think they get less light ? )

I have a lot of experience with over-crowded tents.
Not having enough room to spread out makes my plants and me unhappy.
I've now started chopping runaway branches instead of squishing them together.

Spreading the plants will allow them to absorb the most energy.

The best way to judge efficient light use is to see what's hitting the tent floor.
If squishing the plants together causes more light to hit the floor, then that's wasted energy.
Spreading the plants out can capture that energy.

In the beginning seedlings can be squished together with less light.

I understand why you saying . But as in the picture. The further from the central the less powerful it becomes . So is it worth it ?

Were are you time wise? 6 plants in a 4x4 should be close to wall to wall.

And is it worth it? I expect 600 to 800 grams out of my 4x4 per run. Doesn't matter how many plants, that's what 16 sq ft can produce. In a 3x3 that would drop to 300 to maybe a top of 450.
Nugs around the outside are not as fantastic as those in the middle, but still fantastic (they'd pass for market quality) .... a 4x4 is almost double the square footage of a 3x3 (16 compared to 9), but only 6" bigger all around... fill the space.
the PAR map suggests you should be fine...

Now being relegated to a small grow area I have learned that it helps to turn the plants a 1/4 turn each visit.

While you're PAR map is weaker around the edges, averaging 600+ isn't bad when cannabis will do well with around 800 ppfd.

Give your plants the room to grow, train them to fill the space. For me, it isn't a full tent unless I can't see the floor then I'm not wasting light. So I'd run them at the manufacturers suggestions.

I will put a picture so everyone would know what I’m talking about. Don’t judge. My first grow :))))

And I don’t know what is better. Leave them tight like this but in the centre, or push to the walls

Lookin good m8.. I would move them away from each other a bit so the edges of your plants are as close to your tent sides as u can get.
