Well, I have been reading, researching and studying since coming across AFN some time ago. This plan actually started as a mistake. I had three Strawberry Cough plants flowering and several Himalaya Blue regs in my veg tent. Well, one of the Blues sprung a leak and sprayed pollen everywhere, especially all over my SCs. So I figured, what the hell? A Blue x SC cross may not be bad actually. So, I have harvested the SC, put the best mother back under the lights and have kept all the seeds from her. I am hoping to have a few seeds that will Auto and if so I will back cross them to the mother plant and see how it goes. Anyways, I have my seeds stashed away and the mother plant is beginning to show signs of reveg so I thought I would start a thread and put some porn up with so hopes of getting some helpful tips from those much more experienced than myself in this category.

Anyways, here is the SC mother I will be backcrossing with.

You most likely won't get autos from F1 seeds but if you make F2 then you should see some autos and can backcross from there.
Those buds look really tasty! What's the smell like? I love strawberry cough...

Man, you must have read my mind (and many of my posts lol), I'm so jealous right now. Been trying to figure out if I can veg a photo in my tent with my autos and then further down the line just cut back on the autos and flower a giant Cough. Just need to get to the point where I can start stockpiling my pot rather than just growing enough to get through till the next harvest. I'll get the hang of it one day.... No doubt by then a Strawberry auto will be available, and when that happens I may not grow any other strain for a very long time lol.

Keep us updated, I know I'm not the only one dying to get the hands on an Auto Cough.

Best of luck to you dude.

Thanks evol, so take the seeds I have off the SC and cross them with the HB again? Then backcross.

The smell is sorta like a moldy fruit at the moment not really any strawberry smell yet, they have only been curing a couple of weeks. The high though, wow, through the roof. Very clear, no couch, and long lasting. ~ 2.5 - 3 hours straight up. That mom that is pictured will be cloned for a continual harvest. Dinafem actually just released some Strawberry Cough fems that were supposedly created from a Kushman clone. I have those on the way at the moment. I plan on running them next to a couple of clones of this mother to see what they difference is. I have never had any of the Kushman strain so it will be interesting to see.

Yes, I have read most all of your posts. Yes you can veg the photos with the autos, I have one SC and one White Widow both reveging with my autos at the moment. No need to waste space and electricity with another tent. And if this little side project of mine works, I will shoot you a PM. ;

;)

lol, I know I can do a dual grow, problem is do I have the room to do one, kinda filled every gap I have with autos in pots of all sizes. I've got a few photo seeds here atm so once a few plants have dropped out I'll put one in and see how I handle it.

Seen as you've just shared one with us, let me give one back. Lowlife will soon be releasing an Auto Grandaddy Purple Kush, I'm so freakin excited about that one, hopefully I haven't just given the game away and they don't sell out before I get there lol. Not sure when they'll be on sale but very soon. Keep an eye on Herbies (I was searching for Purple strains)

I will say, Attitude had the Dinafem before Herbies so I would keep an eye on both of them. Herbies had theirs listed first but it continued saying out of stock. Hopefully that helps you get them quicker. I just hit their website every morning and finally saw the SC, from my experience though, if it is hot they run out pretty damn quick.

Just had a quick check but Attitude doesn't stock anything by LowLife, maybe that'll change with the Grandaddy.

What I did find though was this, completely off topic for your thread but for anyone growing photos such as yourself I'm sure there's a strain there to take your fancy. A few of them I've actually been looking for but because the strain I want is in the genetics rather than the name I haven't found them till now.

Anyways, I'll be keeping my eye on this thread dude, you lucky, lucky swine ;)

Ok I'm drunk so I hope his makes sence...
1. Plant several of the seeds from the sc x hb (these are F1) and grow them.

2. Either pick the best male and female from that group(F1) and breed them together.

3. Grow out several of those seeds (F1 male x F1 female) and about 25% will be auto.

4 cross a male F2 auto with a female F2 auto and get F3 seeds.

5. Grow F3 seeds and cross with original sc mother.

6. repeat until satisfied.

Or (more advanced)
2. Take several cuttings and make 2 or 3 clones from each F1 (sc x hb) BEFORE flowering. Male sure to mark what clone came from each mother plant.

3. Flower the plants you took cuttings from

4. What ever plant had the most desirable traits use those clones for next steps.

5. Spray 1 - 2 (its good to use 2 just to be safe) F1 clones with colloidal silver starting the day you put into 12/12 lighting(flowering) and reverse them.

6. Pollinate the other F1 clone from the selected mother with the same type(revesed) clone.

If done properly you sip have feminized F2 seeds that should produce 25% autos.

7. plant several F2 fem

8. 1 - 2 weeks later plant more F2 fem seeds.

9 . Reverse an auto F2 (from step 7)

10. Pollinate an auto (from step 8)

11. Grow out F3 (most should be auto.)

12. Back cross with original sc mother.

You can reverse an F3 auto and pollinate the female sc or reverse a sc clone and pollinate an F3 auto.
I would personally reverse the sc and pollinate the auto.

I hope this helps bro

Not only does it help, it relieves the headaches from hours of reading and rereading Mendel's Laws. I hit you with all the rep I could muster bro!
