They say your plant will tell you what it needs..problem is I can't hear it!... so I took some pictures of two of them .... if anyone knows what they're saying let me know....
my first deep water grow, using stealth grow nutrients, ph 5.8-6, tds apx 500,

kinda looks like boron.... I found this


Boron Deficiency

Problem: Cannabis leaves and roots show abnormal and slowed growth when showing a boron defiency. The first signs of a cannabis boron deficiency is abnormal or thick growth tips. New leaves may display chlorosis (yellowing of leaves). Stems may become rough or hollow. The plant may look like it has a calcium deficiency because boron is needed for the plant to properly use calcium. New growth is affected the most, and may look like it's been burnt or scorched.

Solution: Boron is not absorbed will without enough potassium and nitrogen, or if there isn't enough moisture. You plant may also exhibit signs of a boron deficiency if the pH is too high or low. Flush your system with clean, pH'd water that contains about half the nutrients needed for the plant and watch to make sure that the problem clears up for new growth.

the new growth is looking fine so far but I'll check it tomorrow....I'm using stealth grow hydro nutrients not supposed to need anything just change the water (according to them) as it's a pre- measured mix ..although you cut it down in the beginning to 1/4, 1/2, then full strength...do you thing a cooler temp could cause this as I am setup in the basement... temp is around 70 deg but it feels a little colder...

forgot to say thanks...I'll keep that one in mind ...I just changed the water on the big one the other day and it's good ph/tds...the smaller one is due for a change in a day or two..ph/tds is good...I'll get a hold of steatlh grow tomorrow and ask them what they think
