 Hello to all you Dutch Passionate's.

I have opted for some new feminized beans,
from the House of DP :)

I am told, they are all up in the high 20% THc potency. This is a quite strong "Summer Selection Box" strains =

Blueberry / Blue Velvet / White Widow / Outlaw

The germination on the 4 strains went well. The White Widow + Outlaw + Blue Velvet, all germ-ed straight into 4ltr 30cm tall pots. While the Blueberry (Yum Yums), germ-ed straight into 7ltr 34cm tall pots.

I am very pleased to report, as i have read a few times. 100% germination from all seed capsules. This brought a nice smile to me face, on, and by, day 4.

i will run these from 0.2Ec upto a max of 0.6Ec plus tap water Ec@0.2/0.3 added to 0.01 RO.

Due to my new work hours; i will drop in the updates, at extended intervals;

1st update;
will be @ 9 days, in 2 days time .

I calculate, the grow will drop me into a spring flush & cure. Somewhere around early May time. or
"Blueberry" time......

I am greatly looking forward to the selection box, early spring time.

They are coming on well, since germination, my soil has 25-30% perlite added. so wont last the usual 2 weeks without nute. So will start nute feeding @day10.

looking forward to this grow, and selection.

Thanks for dropping in........:tiphat:HB

Salutations...

Good luck...

Toodle pip....

Im in, good luck mate.

Day 12 Update; Dp's BB / BV / WW & Outlaw.

Day 12 includes the 4 day germ period. From first wetting seeds, germed in final 4ltr pots. The Blueberry's are in 7ltr pots.

just coming to the end of soil nute, and ultra low nute period. veg nute Ec will be upped now to Ec Nute only) Ec 0.6, as a couple are showing heavy greed for nitrogen. While others, in particular the outlaw with higher sativa pheno, are happy on lower Ec's. The widow is greedy fro nute.

will switch to 12/12 @around day 25. couple more weeks of veg, see how they go......... all well so far and good size for age......... HB >> BB/BV/WW/OL

(Fem) Outlaw 80% Sativa 22% + THCv

Color looks good on a low Ec for 8 days.
They are @4th internode atm...........
these pots are quite deep. So should get to a nice size
during the rest of veg. And finish stretch around 2nd week of flower
In these deeper culture vessels........ i love the class form they show at this age,
super pheno's, the Oultlaw show its indica heritage at this age, the fans take on
a more sativa slim pheno's as age creeps up on the young Dutch Dames.... nxt update 12/12 day, 12 days time..........

here is a little fella of my own hand, dusted down 2 small flowers Etal, DesFran, with some Euforia pollen. The double fem F1 seed (DesForia) germinated in 22 hrs........ i expect the DesFran (100% Sativa) to dominate the pheno. I late germed it, as i am doing 12/12 from seed next run, so she will be able to stay in 12/12 till she is very ripe !!...........looking forward to the "Aroma" of the DesForia...!!........ the two are stunning separately, let alone combined...........

I didint have time but today im gonna do a flush like you said, thanks once more.

I am running a mixed grow.........BB + BV + WW + Outlaw. And already i am jumping about with the res, Ph & Ec & Temp. Some need a 5.5 feed to bring down soil Ph, so i do those and then bring res upto 6.5 Ph, and do the rest of them. The 5.5 Ph feed is brought up to Ec 0.4, and fed, (Outlaw & WW) then upto the 6.5 Ph feed, which is then brought upto Ec 0.7 and fed...........

..... so i can attend the different requirements of the selection box !! tricky !!........ as well as monitoring the Ec of run off, to check nute salt concentrations in the soil media, essential in 4ltr cultivar vessels !!............... while making sure the soil is 21c, by raising the vessels into that stratified temp in culture space, while attempting to select and group them for canopy evenness...!!

A bit of juggling required with mixed grows, have to do zero nute feeds every now and again to use up any nutes building up in the small pots 4ltrs......

The Outlaw is showing early cal/mag lock out def atm....... due to high Ph of grow medium. due to 30 days of nute with no plain water feed flush !!....

So will have to run a few ltrs of Ph 5.5 RO through em to get grow medium Ph down. This is the second time i have had this, one of the challenges of growing in small volume grow mediums.......... i might drop the john inns 2 nxt time i do 4ltr 12/12 from seed.

The BB & BV & WW are loving it though ??..........i did add a couple of ltrs of a recovered soil from previous 12/12 grow. That has probably gone alkaline, and ended up in some of the outlaw pots !!.........alkaline due to the bag being open and air oxidizing the soil, as with water, causing a rise in media Ph.

vegging in winter months is allways difficult as the RH in air is so low (20-30%) the VPD vapor pressure difference is large. Which slows growth 30%........

other than that they are all coming along........will do an update the day i tilt 12/12 end of this week around 25 days veg............ HB
