Hello everyone, this is my first post here, I hope I’m doing everything right.
Long story short: this is my second grow, I had a spare seed and I decided to try if it was possible to grow an outdoor autoflower during the last stage of summer/first few weeks of autumn.
I’m currently growing a Monster Mash (should be a indica strain) which is at day 56, in a 10L pot using Biobizz Light Mix and Biobizz nutes.
Everything went fine until it started to rain for days last week. In the last 10 days we’ve had 3 or maybe 4 sunny days (which is not very common considering that I’m from south-west Europe) and the bud development seems to have slowed down quite a bit, and the plant has very few trichomes that can only be seen through a scope. And here’s the issue: higher colas seem to be somewhat ready for harvest since most pistils already turned brown and the majority of trichs are cloudy with a few already amber, whereas lower buds are still airy and all of their pistils are still white.
The question is: does the lack of direct sunlight have anything to do with the disappointing amount of trichomes? Also, what should I do considering that according to the forecast it will rain for a whole week? Should I harvest it gradually starting from main cola or wait for buds to eventually fatten up and harvest the whole thing?
Thanks in advance for your help.
