gm - my betty boos were bizarre (assuming they weren't mislabeled) - grew three and they were 18", 26", 28" - all were the same pheno with strong side branches growing up almost as tall as the top bud - zip to zip and a half on the big ones, and it smoked well, with more of a head high than I expected - they looked exactly like santa marte columbian gold, which is the sativa in betty boo - could be columbian phenos, but it seems odd that I would get 3/3 of a rare pheno - I don't have a camera but I did get a few shots of the betty boos, I'll try to find them.

i do apreciate the info! as much as i want betty to stay short.like 12-14" like advertised,my tent is almost 4ft tall lol...account a foot for fan/filter n light ect..theres still 2-3 feet i could use if needed.although the hardest thing will prolly be keeping all 4 of them in the tent since theres 16" by 16" wide lol... guess we will see
my goal for this grow is to get around an ounce.but 2 would be much better!
i just love getting the chance to grow these amazing autoflowering plants.im totaly hooked...although i may grow some photo plants outdoors sum time.my heart is all for autos.there awesome....

My Betty Boo experience was not typical, so it may be of no use to you, but here it is, summarized from my reports:
Betty Boo is a Lowryder1/Lowryder2/Mazar cross (LR2 = LR1 x Santa Marte Colombian Gold). The main pheno is 12" or less and 60 days, but my pheno was 18-28" and 80-90 days. Grown indoors under 8 bulb T-5 with mixed bulbs, 24/0 from seed. The first pic is Santa Marte Colombian Gold.
The 90 day Betty Boos are the two in the back to the right. The middle plant in the front is growing in a v-shape, so the head bud you see is actually the Betty Boo behind it. The right front plant has its top bent 90 deg, so again the head bud you see is the Betty Boo. That one has a couple branches weighed down by bud, hard to see. The buds on the BB's were all straight up and pretty floppy, and almost as high as the top bud until they were weighed down. It really did look quite a bit like the Colombian. The buzz is all in the head despite the fact that the rest of the genetics are basically Afghani. It may be a Colombian pheno, but it seems unlikely to get 3/3 of a rare pheno - maybe mislabeled.
The first pic is of Santa Marte Colombian Gold, next pic is two BB's with a Trans-Siberian in the front, next two pics have the two BB's back right.
Rating System: it seems like every smoke report is a 4 or a 5. I want to leave more room to differentiate the great stuff, so for me 3 is quite good.

FUTT DUPP RATING: 3.0 (very good) so far
*smoked tester bud from the 18" 80 day plant as soon as it was dry enuff for jars, and was not impressed. It was an eye buzz like a plant cut too soon
*the earlier plant is now 3 weeks in jar. I woke and boke this morning, and noted: the buzz starts in the top of the head above the ears and then to the chest - the head high is a bit discombobulating, no couch lock. Smoked a full bowl over the past 3 hours, just took the last hit - it's a creeper, and it takes a couple hits more than usual to get a good buzz, but if you keep smoking you keep getting higher, no ceiling yet - all in the head a bit spacey - 3 1/2 hours on one bowl by the time I finished this report, and it's time for another.
*another 3 weeks in the jar, and the experience is still essentially the same, although the potency has increased a bit. I'm very pleased. My final rating is 3.5.
*after smoking an ounce (not all at once), I've put the final rating back to a 3.0, only because the ceiling drops fairly quickly (although not too far). The first few times, the more I smoked the higher I got. My favorite from this grow (also grew barney's auto sweet tooth and auto seeds trans-siberian). I didn't notice a difference between the 80 and 90 day plants. Excellent daytime smoke. The smoke has very little odor, it does not give you red or squinty eyes, it is a very functional high with almost no body effect, and it doesn't make you sleepy or hungry. Potent enough, with a really high ceiling at first. Good weed.

I just saw the dimensions of your tent - is it a Grow Lab GL40? I use that tent with a 150w hps, trying led next.

yup growlab GL40,I actualy love the tent...very well built,sturdy..great quality!
the cool thing about the tent is the fact that if I ever decide to grow a bigger auto,or a big photo plant I can just keep one big fucker in the tent,not sure how it would turn out but iv seen some pretty damn big autos in big 3gallon airpots ect...Now iv grown out 2 other autos before,green-o-matic and II diavolo auto,both blew me away with there growth,I used 2 dollor walmart soil,4 26watt cfls,computer fans,big bloom from fox farm which prolly helpped the soil some,but they turned out damn nice,they needed to be lst'd right after they started flowering because they were grown in a growbox/tote lol..wasent enough height to do anything except tie them down lol...both smoked amazing! looked amazing,so I have a little bit high hopes for this grow...
Im using better equiment for the most part,I spent alot more money this time around,tried reading reviews on just about everything before I bought,although alot of people say 90watt ufo led's cnt grow good plants or bud,some have had sucess,others say they dont produce enough light...I say,bullshit!
I had very fast veg growth happening,or did lol...color is good on them all,all but one have pretty much no marks on leaves,branches are long enough on all but NLxBB,so had to actualy tuck big fan leaves under branches,working great and looks cool
betty is growing rediculas,atleast growing an 1" a day but the airpots are .3 gallon so I dnt think it will get to tall,gulp....lmao

I'm flowering a single Critical Sensi Star (Delicious Seeds photoflower, freebie from Attitude) in the GL40 in a round pot 8" wide and 8" tall (about 6L). The plant is about 30" tall, but I bent the stem over, so the canopy is at 22-23" and can't go any higher. It fills 3/4 of the area of the tent, and would fill it all but one side is skimpy from the way I've had the plant positioned. It's been about 10 days since the first real pistils emerged. Flowering under 150w hps + 1 small LED, veg'd under 54W T5's. I have the 150W HPS hooked directly to one of the cross-bars that come with the tent so I can slide it from one side of the tent to the other. I just bought a Kessil H150 Purple 36W LED. It's shaped like a 6" long flashlight and has a concentrated beam that seems good for such a small tent. I slid the hps over a bit and hung the LED over the skimpy part. Next time I have it out of the tent I'll trim some of the low stuff and some fan leaves. Nice looking plant, but it's bushy and leafy with thin stems and not a lot of bud sites, so it probably won't yield. Anyway, to get to the point, one bushy 20-24" plant seems a good way to go in this tent. I flowered three 2 ft photos in it once (2 semi-bushy and 1 mini baseball bat) under 6 23W CFL'S. Buds were nice and seemed fully developed, and the smoke was quite good, but yield was just under 2 oz total, only 0.4g per watt. I grow more than I can smoke anyway with my little setup, and it's always good weed (since I can afford to throw away the bad stuff), and sometimes it's real good, so don't cry for Futt. :smoke:

I thought about a small 100-150watt hps but I pretty much decided to use either big cfl's with reflectors,or try my hand with the led craze,glad I did...I dnt know to much about them,although I read quit a bit about them,its not till u actualy use and grow with them that u understand how something is or works lol,fun
I think my little tent is perfect,dnt need anything bigger and it should "with luck" keep us supplied with meds for a month or 2,and maybe save some money!
We pay 40 an 8th,which dnt last very long so getting fresh,dank bud we grow ourselves seems like such a fun experience,I have come to love autos now,whats not to love,with the strains that are out now a days,theres defently somthing for everyone,no mater how strong,big small ect u want,theres a auto strain for it,or there will be lol...

all plants have had thier first dose of nutes,
picked up foxfarm tiger bloom.read great things which is why I choose it
also read it runs hot'...like its pretty strong flowering nutes and not a good idea to use recomended dose ect..i ended up using 3/4 of a tsp per gallon...
its been a day and a half and havent noticed anything burn wise which is great
what i have noticed is....
the betty boo is now atleast 12-13" tall now..every branch from bottom to top is starting to flower nice..lots of bud sights and hairs ect compared to few days ago...
the 2 dr feelgoods both look great to,u can easly see the difference a few days makes after using the tiger bloom..
the craziest plant is the northen lights x bigbud...
its prolly 5" or so? has some number of nodes and branches as the bigger plants but..its half the size! its defently dwarfy lol...so compact its hard to see even through the other side lol..but very nice healthy green...also noticed hairs up top as well.
pics at day 30 as promised
i compared this grow to my last auto grow,at day 28 of this grow.the flowering apears better then my last grow at day 30.so im happy...
