80x80x160 600w led auto grow.

Hi all,

I am new to this site and wanted your opinion. I am starting a 80x80x160 grow with 600w mars hydro led light.

Im looking to do 2 plants. I am using 3gallon fabric bags with biobiz soil. Auto seeds I am using is barneys farm gorilla glue and ghelato auto from fast buds. I heard these are high yeilders.

My question is, how much can I yeild just from these 2 plants? Or do you think the tent will be to crowded for both? I am looking to do LST to. Cheers

Perfect for 1.5'x1.5' (45x45cm) Bloom stage and 2'x2' (60x60cm) Veg stage - The micromoles at 18" is only around 400. You want to get around 1000 for bloom.

Having said all that. You will be able to grow two plants in there and get some decent yield I would think. I have a comparable light and it can certainly veg 4 plants in a 2x2 tent very well.

Lighting with intensities of 1500–2000 μmol∙m-2∙s-1 can draw a lot of electricity and be very expensive to run. Most growers will use light that is less intense and produces a good yield. Seedlings, clones, and mother plants can be successful with just 200 to 400 μmol∙m-2∙s-1 PPFD. For plants in the vegetative growth phase of cannabis 400 to 600 μmol∙m-2∙s-1 PPFD can be sufficient. Flowering plants will benefit from more intense light with 600 to 900 μmol∙m-2∙s-1 PPFD.

Thanks for your reply. I have another led the set up came with but I think it only draws around 40 to 80w from wall. What if I added this to the grow to? The led light dont have a name lol. I will take a photo and post.

The 600W marshydro only pulls about 100W from the wall, so adding an 80w light would almost double your power. If you have the space and can hang both, I would give it a whirl.

This is the set up i got. It came with this light. When I phoned the shop to ask what led it was, he said it draws around 40 to 80. So if I use both it might make the diffrence. Have you ever seen this led light before?

This is the thing ! There was no brand name.... how high should I hang the mars hydro from first sign of coming up from soil? I was thinking to start with the marshydro and first sign of bloom put this in with it?

That is a good plan. The mars hydro will handle all the veg stage.

And I would hang it about 2 feet above for veg.
