Has anyone heard of an auto being stressed to the point of not flowering? 1 short stuff seeds Himalayan orange diesel that germinated and started growing great. Then 2 sets of fan leaves were cut off around the time of the 6th node and tied down to LST. Plant was untied around 35 days and it has yet to show 1 flower. Also it is on 20/4 light schedule. Any suggestions? Does it need shocked and given 12 hours of darkness?

hmm crap the non autoing auto 
probably not your fault as the lst dont sound to much.just bad luck an odd plant.
keeping to 12/12 will probably be your best bet

It happens more than we'd like to see. It's not a result of stress.. It's genetic. 90% of the time, the strain was not taken to a full term auto, or tested by the breeder.. It means that the seed you popped doesn't have the auto gene. If you change the lighting to 12 on and 12 off, I'm sure it will start to flower just like a normal photo period plant.

The infamous auto that isn't. It happens once in a while - no great advertisement for the breeder that supplied the seed. As others suggest, you are pretty much stuck with trying 12/12 lighting to switch it into flower. You will have to leave it in 12/12 until harvest, which can be a pain if you have other autos on the grow. OTOH, if it is 70 days old, and on its own, it should be good sized and you might end up with even more bud than you planned, if a bit later than you planned.
