New Grower 600w cooltube best height

as title says i have just installed my cooltube i left plenty of ducting to lower to my plants with my old barn reflector i used to stay around 18 inch how close can i go now with this if anyone has any experience id appreciate it and thanks

its like a air hood so air blows over the bulb to keep temps down

I always use open bulb hps, i would just lower it a couple inches from your normal height and see how they react dude

thanks for the input i was using as i said a open barn one with 600w but its in a 1.2x.1.2 grow tent so temps would hover around 85f so save me worrying later on i went for this its winter now as well in summer i would be hitting over 90f so im trying to future proof at the moment im at 75f with this cooltube so i will go a few inches at a time
