Indoor 3rd grow. seedsman auto kush and barneys pineapple express

Ok guys and gals. Ive decided to give writing a journal a try. Everyone here has been so helpful and I just wanted to give a little back.

I think the title speaks for itself. I am on my third grow. My previous 2 went great, the first I got around 35g (+/-) (beginners luck) from 2 seedsman auto Kush. The second I got a bit more adventurous and went for 3 strains. Again with the auto Kush, Barneys pineapple express and Buddhas purple Kush. With this one I got just over 30g from all 3(bit of a let-down, but Im still a rookie).


And now to the present.


Setup


250w growlux dual spec hps light.
2 7.5L pots (upgrade from 2.5L coffee cans)
Biobizz all mix soil
Biobizz grow and bloom
And the best part? A cheap ass tent looking thing made from an old desk wrapped in white blackout sheet.


As for temp and humidity I once used those digital clocks and the results where 54% humidity and 28c. Its pretty consistent.


Next, PH levels... I have no idea. I dont have a way to check (yet). But from what Ive read when using this soil and nutes it doesnt really matter. If Im wrong please correct me. Thats how we learn.


Ive already started my grow so I only have 2 pics with the light on taken moments ago. Tomorrow ill post 2 more with the lights off.

Looking nice for 13/16 days
I'm wondering why you've gone for a 14/10 light schedule? They'd benefit from another 4-6 hours light a day if it was possible

its mainly because of the costs. here at home ive got a sort of pay as you go system, so when i first started i did some trial and error to see which way would be less expensive and as it turns out it was to have the the bare minimum, hence the 14hour on during the night(1900 to 0900).

and i do agree with you that more light would be better, but on the other hand my results so far havent been that bad...nothing compared to some grows ive read about here, but still pretty good i think

exactly mwsmoker...its been working for me so far so im just gonna stick with it.

on a different topic.... i see you have grown some KVS. im planning on growing that next. did it stink up your place? im concerned that its gonna stink up my place... i have a homemade carbon filter but its not very effective.

hey guys. so here is a little update on my babies. so far everything seems to be going fine, apart from maybe a stretching of the pineapple express and my auto kush is growing slightly slower than my other grows. maybe you guys can give me you opinions

PS. im still far from harvest(obviously) but i already thinking of what to grow next. can you guys recommend a good strain to grow but with minimal stink during the grow? i would be greatful.
